Sound like someone lost rams -4.5???
Cincinnati was the easiest non-stressful Super Bowl bet of my life. They won and covers every game of the playoffs for me and Super Bowl.

I just don't understand why all of these people cry "fix!" Understand the game, the books don't need to "fix" anything. Even money on both sides ensures a profit. END. OF. STORY.
Its like the election conspiracy people....can you imagine the sheer workload to scheme fixing a football game? Then to pull all of this off without someone, somewhere coming out with the truth. It would ruin the sportsbetting industry. Better to put out sharp numbers and manipulate the numbers to have even money.
Simple. But you know, continue to think the games are fixed.

Dude.. I HAVE PREACHED THIS AT LEAST 10 TIMES BEFORE. In NFL and all sports, and especially in the decisive games, teams could not care less about the spread. Their only incentive is to win. Spreads were invented because of degenerate gamblers, who need the thrill of betting on 50/50 propositions, and do not have the knowledge or capacity to understand -150/-250 +300 lines, odds and profitability. DO THE MATH, FIND WINNING PERCENTAGES FOR EACH TEAM, BET EXPLOITABLE MONEY LINES AND WIN . I had Rams ML vs Tampa, Rams ML vs SF, Rams ML vs Cincy. I won Cincy vs Raiders, SF vs Dallas. Some of those games I won, would have been losses had I bet the spread.
Yes... I ldid lose with KC ML vs Cincy as well in a game that KC had in its bag. I also lost Tenn vs Cincy in another game that I feel Tenns shoudl have won. But I would have lost the spreads as well...
BET MONEY LINES. GO WITH THE REAL INCENTIVES THAT A TEAM HAS. SPREADS PUT MORE VARIANCE AND LUCK IN THE EQUATION.

How were they the wrong side?
allow 1 yard per rush
Higgins call and phantom defensive holding call on third and goal from the 7 even each other out. No call there and fourth and goal for the rams doubt they score.
So those plays offset..
Cincy +2 in turnovers also so fluke they even lost the game outright

@JimmyGape
It’s good to be lucky and lucky to be good.
Bengals will have a much improved OFL next season as protection for Young QB sensation added to the equation and most likely will make the playoffs once again …. Wtf do I know

Then tell me how I handicapped the game at Cinn -2 1/2, 47 1/2 ? And when I lose, I don't look at penalties, missed penalties, so called fumbles, etc. I take my loss, as hard as it may be and realize these things do even out over time. Please take the informative wisdom of the posts by Mcwestie1 (Time evens out) and Romans12 (Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't). if you carry these two unselfish, yet true statements with you in your gaming exploits you will be a much more astute gambler. This is not to be misconstrued as a punishment, but as the best type of constructive criticism. Please take our advice. Remember handicapping is WORK, and work never finished at that ! What works splendidly one year might need tweeking or an overhaul the next !!! I wish you the best in your future gaming exploits. One more thing,if your handicapping comes out with the underdog winning always take the points, ALWAYS ! I take that advice myself, as you can see I came up with the dog winning. But I bet Cinn +4.

I like and appreciate your handicapping skills. You stick to your plan. I'm only replying here to tell you I take a opposite approach to your favorite's ML theory with a little twist. I only bet dogs, but always take the points. This way my bet is always -110 or so and I win 2 ways. with an outright win or a cover. Betting favorites for me, is like trying to run a 100 yd dash through a minefield!!! LOL But you got to stick with what works for you. I've always told my friends, "If you got 100 smart gamblers in a room, you have 100 different ways of handicapping." We would be 2 perfect examples of that. Good luck in all your future bets and more importantly, in life.
