They are the most complete team left. Stafford is on fire. Donald & Co on defense. If they can get by San Fran, I think their D/front 7 will stop Mahomes like the Bucs did last year. LA +210 anyone?

I actually have massive futures on Rams and have liked them all year but for some reason I have a bad feeling about them in SB vs. the chiefs. They looked shaky at the end of the year and if they do not perform, or don’t show up, or have multiple turnovers like their last game to almost allow a 24 point comeback, then they lost certainly will lose. I actually think they will beat SF but their issue is in the secondary and LB with middle large throws. I can see Mahomes just carving up their defense if he has even a few seconds to throw. Also, despite rams excellent pass rush the KC line is pretty solid.

KC has a new oline from last year so the one that was spanked by the Bucs in the bowl last year is not the one that the Rams would face...their new guys can pass block... but BOL...Stafford played really well last week...I was impressed.

Today's NFL is based on offense.
Champions are now who can score the most points.
The two most prolific offenses left in the final four are playing in the AFC...the winner of that game is going to be the Lombardi trophy lifter...yes, Cincy if they get past KC in my opinion will win it all...Joe Cool, Chase & company are 2 years ahead of schedule, but then again, so were the Chiefs when Mahomes took the league by surprise and won their title.

They'll beat the 49ers, problem is KC. I think they matchup pretty well with the Chief's but Rams are still making TOs and KCs defense has been excellent at takeaways, 29, 4th best in the league. It'll come down to that, it usually does.

Mahomes lost his first AFC Championship appearance in his first playoff season.... 2nd time around won their title
Brady is only QB since playoff expansion in 2000 to win Conference Title game in first try.... Burrow may be more Brady than anyone....but I don't see Zach Taylor as the 2nd coming of Bill Belicheck

The main reason I would say the Rams wouldn't win the SB is inconsistency. They rarely - if ever - play a full game up to their ability.
For whatever reason they shut down for long periods of time. Up 17-0 on SF, Up on the Bucs.... it happens all the time.
I am not a fan of McVay. He goes with a set plan - and if it doesnt work - he has no willingness (or capability) to change it mid-game. SB against NE. TB second half last week.
Not saying they wont win the SB. Just answering the direct question of why they might not.

Complete teams don't need last second heroics to come from behind.
They don't squander leads...twice.
SF has beaten them two ways.
Pounded them by 20.
Then made up a 17 point difference.
The Rams straight suck

Bad matchup for Rams. They’ve lost 6 straight to 49ers even when decimated by injuries + had losing record last year
Rams want other teams to pass, but 49ers prefer to run right at them instead. Advantage 49ers. Also Jimmy G strength is short passes to middle of field, the area where Rams are most vulnerable. ( I posted a link to a heat map that charted this recently.)
the old football adage might apply to this game…..”if my 11 guys can push your 11 guys around, I win”. Rams have some better players at skill positions but 49ers are the more physical team, and have a good shot at winning SU

It's flag football with no defense.
There are no more game for the ages.

Most years there is one d-line that stands out down the stretch and I think it’s the Rams this season. I like the way they are clicking on offense with the run game to take some pressure off Stafford. However they seem to piss down their leg in crunch time. The turnovers last week were concerning. If they stack the box as bad as Jimmy G can be he makes timely throws. San Fran is so gritty and seem to close strong where Rams are pissing their pants. I will sit on the sidelines and watch this one.
Chiefs do have a brand new line. In SB they were missing their top two lineman and a third was so banged up he sucked vs the Bucs d-line that was shinning at the right time. If Matthews is out at safety it’s going to be a shootout. Might be a shootout either way but I think Chiefs win and with as bad as Bengals o-line is could be a long day for burrows. I will put my money on spaghetti spags to lock up Chase. Burrows said Sec stadiums are louder than arrowhead. That won’t age well for him. Chiefs go to bowl vs Rams and McVay pisses down his leg in SB. Chiefs win it all and Mahomes is MVP of game is what I could see happening
