Well, announcers are so subjective, you just can't win when you take a stance on who you like or dislike.

Really liked Chris Collingsworth as a player. Very diciplined, great route runner, the heart of a lion. Just thin he's got Howard Cosell's "overexposure" now. As does the play by play announcer. 
But he shouldn't do his color play by play from the viewpoint that we're all ignorant of the game. By that I mean he sort of talks down to the listener/viewer.

Thank you,...I couldn't find a way to explain it but this is perfect. He even bashes some players if they don't do it a way he would have done it "back in his day".

Speaking of....Collinsworth praised Joe Morgan during the game tonight when NBC showed him hanging out with Art Shell.  Something about Morgan explaining the game so well...

THATS how bad CC is.

CC is undoubtedly one of the best of all time. I don't understand the hate. He explains and highlights parts of the game that others not named Romo do not.

I agree.  I'm sure he's a nice guy.  However, he sounds like a bumbling, always-Mr.-Obvious buffoon.  Still, more well spoken than the POTUS and markedly less than Tony Romy.
