Whatever side everyone is on PLEASE find more reasoning to back up your play then this being the last game at a particular stadium. You honestly think T.O. gives 2 shits about the history aspect here. Please consider more then that whether you are on Dallas or Balty
I thought the idea here was to look at all variables. There is more to games than just stats. Was there any doubt that the Saints were going to win their first game back in the dome after Katrina. Hey, not saying you have to lay the points but I just don't see Dallas losing this one.
The post I made was in regards to posters who are basing wagering decisions based solely or mostly on the last game idea. Thats all i meant.

The public is pounding the hell out of the Dallas Cowboys (I think that Baltimore will do the same on the football field).
I like to get the best line possible so I will wait until about 20 minutes before the game to place my wager. I see the line moving up to 6 or maybe 6.5.
I like it right now at 5 a lot, but why not hold out for a little more if the public keeps up the good work.
That is exactly my plan too bro. I don't know how much more it will move though. right now at 5:17 it is sitting at 5 1/2. I would feel so much more comfortable with 6 points.

No problem.. Should be a slobber-knocker game by both defenses. Both are playing well right now. Game will probably come down to which QB handles the pressure the best. Romo who can be erratic or the rookie.
BOL to all.

#1 The Cowboys Defense is great. Take a look at their full body of work and its not as impressive as you may think. They did handle a injury ridden Giants team last week, and Ware looked incredible. But it's not hard to stop a team that had to sit there only decent RB. If Jacobs plays, Dallas is now forced to stack the box and that game turns out a lot differently. Since Ward is innefective between the tackles, BOTH Dallas tackles were able to cheat outside and turn out big performances. I'm not saying they win the game, but it turns out differently. Look at their statistics on the year.
Dallas D -
20.8 PA per game 287 Total Yards 193 Passng 93 Rushing
If Dallas only rushes four, they will get a large dose of MccLain running right up the middle. Keeping the D on the field is the key, it much harder to bring an effective 4 man blitz when the offense is moving the chains. I see the Ravens backfield going well over 100 yards. McClain is a big bruiser and if they don't stack the box, they will take the 3.75 YPC average and play a field position game. In this type of game, you always take the points.
#2 Flacco can't play. Anyone who says this hasn't seen him play....unless they saw the Steelers game....but everyone looks bad against them. The truth is the kid can play. He simply hasn't had to. After the Indy loss, Baltimore realized that they needed him to throw the ball to win games against decent teams. Since then he has 12 TDs to only 5 Ints. He has made some great throws throughout these games. Tonight they will manage the clock with the run game and we will see about 20 attempts from Flacco. I would be more worried about Romo taking a hit then Flacco in this one.
The line is now Ravens +6 and I am all over it.

Two big misconceptions over this game...

I can understand your point of view but you dont quite understand the emotional impact of this game. I dont think they will let Jerry Jones go out like that that. There are too many memories and not to mention hall of famers and iconic people there tonight. All that said and I cant stand the Cowboys but I gotta ride with them tonight.

Balty has not shown up against good teams on the road this year
This is true but what has Romo done in his career for "big games"? Last game at Texas stadium is an advantage to the fans but i believe it has no impact on the players itself. Its just a playoff atmosphere to both teams.Leaning on the Ravens and might tease the over.GL to all.

Dallas wins because they have the potential to score and make comebacks. You really can't count on Flacco to make a comeback if the Ravens get down early

Fantasy assitance needed. I have T Choice, T Owens or McClain to play at flex in a league with .5per reception and 1pt for 15 yards. All three could be valuable or lay an egg. Who is most solid and most upside.

nice writeup, great view of both sides.... being a die hard eagles fan, id love to see romo get whacked around, but i do believe if the ravens win this game, or cover the points, their defense will have to put up a td, maybe two. I cant see mcclain beating them, and i dont think flacco will have the time to beat them. screw all that talk about texas stadium, this is going to come down to who gets to the qb, and i just cant see balt scoring more than 10 pts on offense. something like 20 - 13 dallas.... gl and appreciate the help...

Raven, I am jacked up for this one. I think you may just get the W here...Wouldn't Lewis and the birds love to spoil this one for Dallas? Talk about motivation

this game will be won on the backs of the offensive and defensive line...if Romo gets time the Cowboys will put up enough points to where Baltimore cannot recover...if the Ravens can control the line of scrimmage they will keep it close and the Ravens will cover but probably not win...I pick the cowboys to win by 7
...this cowboys team is different from the cowboys of last year...they have to win to get in..last year they had success early...this year it happened and they were knocked on their azz....Phillips took over the defense 3 games ago and is finally living up to his billing...running back is not a big factor because Dallas was 3 deep this year...If the Ravens don't believe Dallas won't run we will move the ball early.
I'm concerned about Flacco and his strong arm...we must get to him just as Baltimore MUST get to Romo...as I said the line of scrimmage will determine the fate of the game...I just believe more in Dallas Offensive line that Baltimores D line...I respect Reed, Lewis and the other backers but they aint' rushing the quarterback...Ware gets within 1 sack of Strahans record and the Cowboys close out a historic stadium tonight with Laundry stading watch.

My Gawd, everyone is so on Dallas nuts right now..........love it to be setting up a nice Ravens victory.
