Dallas @ New England

Everyone hates betting against NE because they are more often on the wrong side when they do. But this is the NoFunLeague. Hate giving up a td against a team that can beat them outright. Hopefully Zeke will put in work with the weather the way it is and keep it close enough to cover/win. Dallas +6.5

Dallas has beaten the Giants twice, Washington once, Miami once, Detroit once, and the Eagles once. Dallas lost to GB, New Orleans, Minnesota and the Jets. 

I rest my case...

Actually,   Dallas defensive coordinator is more of a problem than the offensive play calling.      they don't adjust at all and I watching Minny run the ball down their throat all game line using the same plays over and over again

The Buffalo- Dallas game is more interesting 

Just a heads up on the latest news for both sides:

Tom Brady is “questionable” (right elbow) for the game ... after not being listed on the injury report all week ... but was “limited” in practice on Friday.

And the flu is going through the Dallas facility. CB Jordan Lewis and S Xavier Woods are just now recovering from it. Meanwhile LB Joe Thomas and S Donovan Wilson have missed practice all week. And according to the report Prescott began taking preventitive meds on Friday.

 It doesn't matter how Brady performed at Philly, hes not in Philly anymore.. he's in NE where they play at their best, 2 weeks removed from a BYE, so they're ready for this game.  lets look at both the defenses  3 game road series for Dallas and 3 game home series for NE. Dallas D gave up 27 pure ppg vs a back up QB ( det), they also gave up 24 pppg to Darnold who hadn't played a snap in a month, they gave up 14 to a first year rookie ( Jones) who cant hang on to the ball...no ball in hand.. no points. On average in that series Dallas D gave up > 24 pppg . vs the same caliber of competition NE plays at home. Clev, Giants , Jets.  but NE giving up 7 pppg on defense and add in the fact that NE D can create turnovers and their pass D is  the best in the league. Zeke will get his yards between the 20's, getn into the endzone is another story

Question: has anyone ever watched Dak play against a quality defense when he played in College and in the NFL.. he cant..and wont here. Just remember when watching this game..a backup QB put 27 on them last week..if Detroit had a 7 pppg defense instead of a 34 pppg defense like detroit, the out come would have been different. Cowboys 0-4 SU 1-3 ATS in the series when NE owns a win % of 777 or higher. NE also enters at 10-0 SU / 9-1 ATS @ home after allowing 10 or fewer pts in their last game

Brady: 39-4 SU / 31-13 ATS in his career vs .600 or less NFC opposition and 24-3 SU / 21-6 ATS when not fav by more than 7. 

Patriots offense has definitely looked Shakey in falling behind 17-0 to the Ravens and 10-0 to the eagles but the Patriots record at Gillette stadium (19-1 SU/14-3-3 ATS in the last twenty at home) I can see how siding with the Patriots  makes this tempting but with the offense not at full strength I find it hard to believe that they cover yet alone win by double digits.....just my two cents worth.

The Pats defense alone is worth a +3.5 point edge, think about it.

Dallas and Dak have padded their stats all year whooping up on tomato cans...Giants twice, Miami, Washington, Detroit, and an ok Eagles' team. Of course their offensive stats are through the roof...it is not who you play in the NFL, it is when you played them and Big D caught those loser teams when they were all fragile marshmallows for the most part. 

When Dak sees some exotic coverages and formations in Foxborough...Dak will crack IMO. Way better QBs than Prescott have been 'shocked and awed' in that stadium than him. 

This is just another day at the office for the Pats. 

Oh I forgot, Dak wants to get paid...he'll get paid...the Pats will stop him on a dime and give him 9 cents change. 

I understand about NE offense...don't worry they will be just fine. However, my $ is on the defense

I see the Pats' offense going all in on running the football this week...Dante Scarnecchia was out there apologizing this week to the media about the Oline's poor performance. That Dallas D line is very fast with active linebackers...so it makes sense to run right at them rather than be pass heavy. 

Brady was thrown around like a rag doll by the Eagles last week...but now is back in the friendly confines of 'The Razor'. I wonder how Dak will react to it all there? If he has the game of his life, then more power to him...Peyton and Big Ben always had bad times there...just sayin'. 

Don't overthink this game. Pats will be ready.

Eagles defense is so much better the last few weeks as they are getting healthy. Do not be fooled and think the pats just sucked.  If Brady injury  is made up like I think it is they are going to throw on this defense.  NE watched what Minn did and will play the same script.  Make them one dimensional and Vikes secondary is nothing like the Pats.   Pats roll and the Eagles smother hawks because they are not a good screen team.
