Very clearly reports… what was that call about?

Where are you seeing that?  I saw one overhead replay and #68 was standing in the middle of the huddle while #70 was reporting.

Ref acted like he didn't want to hear him, since he basically ran away as Decker was talking to him.  But then the ref goes to Dallas defense and tells them who is eligible. 

I think the ref just clearly fucked up and thought #70 was who reported to him.....or it's rigged

I think people are getting 70 and 68 confused.  70 reported.  68 caught the ball.  I love how there multiple threads disputing this.

 Exactly, #68 Decker, is the only player who speaks to the ref.  #70 Skipper is running onto the field, but never engages with the ref. 

Found the video.  68 and 70 go to report and the ref runs away.  Lions got shafted.

 68 and 58 are talking with the ref, 70 comes up on the 3 and the ref walks away for 68 and 58.  Clear as day.

I’m a Dallas fan and 68 clearly reports. Ref got all confused and Det got screwed 

campbell is an idiot though for going for 2 after the penalty. 

mccarthy is an idiot as usual with clock management throwing it on second down and not taking 45 seconds off the clock. 

these coaches were two idiots in the final minutes of the game. 

He looks covered by the receiver to me. The receiver is right on the LoS. How can the lineman be eligible? Why is no one talking about this?

To me looks like he runs to the ref. His own teammates get in the way. Ref never acknowledged 70’s existence so likely never hear anything he had to say.

Now I see the replay you're talking about... seems like 68 was being a bit too sneaky about it, and wasn't obvious about making sure the ref heard him. Hard to know from that overhead view, but it does seem like he was trying to report.

However, it deserves to be mentioned that the in-booth official said it should be a penalty even if he did report, because he was uncovered. He also said there's a 3rd foul that could have been called. Maybe the reporting issue was the wrong penalty to call.

I still think the bigger issue in this game is Dan Campbell still refusing to kick the XP after that penalty. That was a fireable offense if I've ever seen one!

70 isn't the important one anyway, but it's hard to tell if he heard what 68 had to say.

Ref nods after both are there, then runs to Dallas defense and you can see him mouthing 2 different numbers !!!!

 I believe that is why the penalty stood. The reporting issue had nothing to do with it.

Just listened to the Goff interview, he was adamant that Decker reported,Allen should be under the scope now, also u can see Allen nodding !! This may not be what u want to hear Butttt !!! Let your eyes and money be in the right side , because they want money on both sides ! They make money
