Ive been reading here how the Rams weren’t trying and they didnt care blah blah blah . Let me see if the Rams win they all but secure home field for the playoffs as this was going to be their last real Stumbing block for a 15-1 season but guess what they ran into a GREAT defense and they lost. What’s that saying that holds since the dawn of Football ???? Defense wins Championships the Bears are a young team with a new coaching staff they will win 2-3 Super Bowls over the next 5 years This win was no fluke.

Congrats on win from Vikes fan. I love a great defense and you guys look great. I agree ive been saying it before come playoff time the rams, chiefs and even saints will be put on notice with there poor defenses. Luckily they will all be playing home playoff games so they will likely still be okay, If you pressure the QB hit him and make him uncomfortable you are going to have success. That was the most pressure Ive seen Goff under this year and thats what happens. It also helped being home and the cold for the California kid but they def were trying lol You guys will be very tough to beat at home in playoffs GL to you rest of way.

Getting far ahead of yourself eh... the broader message is on point. Ryan Pace set this team up the right way, adding cost controlled pieces and draft talent... Including this year, we have 4 years of rookie a scale QB to maximize our winning potential. Then we will have to win because of our QB not in spite of him - I worry about Mitch but I certainly have not lost faith in him... Unfortunately for your 5 year view - defenses are less predictable than offenses IMO, but regardless, we’re in a good spot

The Saints at least have the wherewithal to have created a pretty stout run D. Ranked #3 vs the rush per dvoa. Making a team one dimensional when Brees is on the other side of the ball is a good formula.
Did you guys see what the Cowboys did to the Saints offense? They played Dime on 64% of the downs, and mostly Nickel on the rest, that's nuts but it worked. And it only worked because the Dallas down 4 linemen did a great job rushing vs 5 blockers. And MLB Vander Esch was unconscious vs Kamara and Ingram.
In a copycat league, that game should be analyzed by anyone who will face the Saints in the playoffs.

The Bears defense is a very young one which means they will probably get better “scary thought” and their head coach is in his 1st year with Trubisky and co.So that figures to also get better. So keeping that in mind my prediction is not far fetched at all.

Trubisky is a joke he got bailed out by defense just like rexd grossman like with QBR so low 1st half of 12.5 Goff was bad also
Rams just couldnt do anything and b 2 b roads are tough on any team in this league I read right through line.
HC held out Trubisky one more week just for this game and it paid off
HE could have used brisky @ giants but held off and if ya look at bears thier defense has faltered many times
@ Dolphins wow wtf was that bears sunny florida party time before game right 28- 31 s/u looser next week home dog to patriots and another DD given up 38-31 loss in two weeks that alleged defense allowed a joke dolphins team to score 31 and Patriots chew them up with 38 more that's 69 points.
Good solid defense dont give up 30 points in games more than once or twice in season
or even like 21 points and thier schedule is very cupcakey
Cardinals they squeak a 2 point win 16-14 lmao
that same cardinals team pulls over 2nd biggest upset of year as a 14 point dog @ Peckers (not a typo)
other losers they faced Dolphins Bills Jets ooooo wow and The buccaneers at Home weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
This team will not beplaying in Atalanta i guarantee it
btw they out gained by rams last night also yes truly way more yardage to rams then they put up
this is known as winning games inside out
losing in the stats will cqtch up to you sooner or later especially when on a losers schedule
Bears will win 1st game at home then when hit road bye bye
You just keep goin huh? God bless ya.

Last I checked....The playoffs in the NFC will be going through L.A & New Orleans....Its one thing to play great defense at home in the cold...Its a different story on the road....And Bears are not winning anything with Trubusky...Most of his plays to start the game are scripted...Once the script stops..he is terrible...

So the weather was the reason Goff played the way he did? Very interesting......4 ints.....no tds.....yeah 22 degree weather....no wind.....no rain.....that causes a qb to throw 4 into. Hmmmmm

Sounds like the Cub fans a mere 2 years ago......and they actually WON something. (I'm one of thoase Cub fans btw....)
Just saying...and Mr. Biscuit? Really? He needs to get his throwing fixed under pressure - which tends to be something you either have or you don't.
Good luck - but the NFL has changed enough so that a killer D alone won't do it.

it's funny how things change on weekly basis .. yesterday the bears looked like it was 1985 again but the week before I watched old @ss Eli Manning tear that defense a new one .. yeah great defenses travel but its not happening in New Orleans or Los Angeles

You know what else is funny? How last year the majority of people in this country thought a backup QB couldn’t get his team to the championship game let alone beat the best QB ever in the Super Bowl. It’s the NFL and teams play one week a certain way and another week a completely different way. ANYBODY who bases a teams chances off of one bad game or one great game is an amateur. You say the bears can’t go into NO or LA and best them? Why not? I’m not saying the Bears will do it but to think they can’t because it’s not what the majority or experts think....come on.

Everyone needs to realize the the Bears are one of the youngest teams in the NFL with a 1st year coach some of you act as if the Bears are supposed to win and have peaked. They are just getting started and the arrow is pointing up.Yes they are not consistent yet that’s coming soon though.

Absolutely anything can happen especially when you have a great defense like the bears its not impossible for the bears to win on the road in the championship game .. imo bears still to young no playoff experience that's why I think they can't do it this year but we will see

When you say young, what does that mean? If you look at their team, do the bears not have veterans on both sides of the ball? So you obviously think the Rams are something special....ok....but are they not young too? Their coach, their qb, their running back.....it’s no different from the Bears. As for playoff experience, did Philly have that last year? Did Dougy have experience in the playoffs as a head coach? What about Foles? Look at the qbs who were in the conference championships last year. Bortles, Keenum, Foles, Brady. I guess for me......I don’t see one team that hands down is the front runner in the league to win it all. Each good team has their weaknesses and for me, if a team has a great defense, a good running game and they win the turnover battle the majority of the time, that team is dangerous. People thought the Rams, Chiefs, Saints were unbeatable.....nobody is. That’s all I’m saying.

Bears have clearly gotten and still getting better on Defense. Im loving how they play, yes they are not as consistent right now but also its not only a good or great D, the offense, as bad as it looked last night, has also looked great other games!
Rams didnt "lay down" whoever says that is a joke. Bears played great D and dis enough to win. Yes if they play in LA it may or may not be different. Bears have the chance to beat any team in the league. It would be consider a surprise if they make a SB run but they definitely have what it takes.

More than the defense, I think it was the cold weather that affected the Rams. They couldn't even line up correctly. DE and LB were running free without even being blocked. This was happening all night. It's like the whole Rams team had brainfreeze.

Yep.....the cold weather was 100% the reason why the Rams looked the way they did....yikes. I’m being sarcastic here of course.....God bless your little heart Chief. 22 degrees with no wind is weather where nobody can function properly. Too funny man.

Whether and crowd noise had a part to due with the Rams struggle..It was also a bad spot for the Rams..BTB road games..but Bears defense dominated the rams offense.. I will give credit there...If you can stop the run in McVay's offense, you can shut them down as their passing game is predicated off play action. Goff is vastly overrated and is terrible when under pressure. Most of his success is when he has 4-5 seconds to throw on those deep drops and guys running wide open. Rams abandoned the run game very early. If the game is played in L.A. its a different story....Bears defense gave 30 & 31 points to the Giants & Dolphins on the road...They are not as good on the road as they are at home

The Bears have the least guys over 30 in the league the Steelers are old and so are the Patriots according to past performances in the NFL coinciding the age factor the Bears are about 2 years from their peak ages that usually lasts about 5 years.

To be fair extremely cold weather really can negatively affect performance badly, especially when on top of that you're playing in the home stadium of a team who is used to freezing weather and has the best defense in the league.
Pretty brutal matchup for the Rams actually.
