Two teams very familiar with each other coming off poor performances. When GB played well last season they were running the ball, Aaron Jones had 5 carries last week, this for a guy who rushed for over 1400 yards last year. And for the Lions, Goff had 58 passing attempts vs SF, they got behind, but you can't win with that many pass attempts. Dak had 57 vs TB in a loss then they had 31 rushing attempts/168 yds yesterday in a 20-17 win for Dallas, I'm sure Lions HC Dan Campbell took note. Jamal Williams, former Packer, and D'Andre Swift are capable RBs. Both teams I'm certain are going to emphasize their running games, ballcontrol,Gotta move the chains.Their defenses were embarrassed last week and I believe we'll see a completely different energy and effort from both teams on that side of the ball. And it's a division game for 2 teams that are 0-1. Just feels a little more like an 'ol school game coming tonight at historic Lambeau Field, the team who runs it best and plays the best defense wins. Add in Aaron Rodgers making the necessary throws and GB should come away with the win, they're an 11.5 point fav. But if I'm right, and I certainly may not be, should be a lower scoring game, 28-17 type of game. They'll be some wind tonight, 15-16 mph, nothing crazy but enough to have an effect on longer throws and perhaps FGs too. It'll be very humid too, 85%, beware of sweaty, slippery hands, and dropped passes.
The UNDERis 4-1 last 5 between these two.
Can't play a DD fav and the Under, at least I don't, therefore-
UNDER 49, -115
As Always good luck to all!

Gl man, I feel the same way about staying away from betting a big fave and the under in the same game. In that type of situation where I like the under as well as the big fave to cover I always strongly consider just betting the TT un on the dog. That way if for some reason the big fave goes off offensively en route to a 34-17 type game I get the W instead of a couple points costing me the full game under. Gl on your play, just thought I'd throw that out there although I'm sure you've considered it.

34-17, 51 total points. Funny you should mention that number, I think we end up between 43 and 51. If I'm right, getting the number at 49 gives me 6 chances of winning, two of losing. Unless there's crazy special teams plays or pick 6s for TDs, I'm comfortable with that. Not one to play TTs in football, hockey or baseball, different story. Thx for your input!

Car- 7.5 @ Hou, big number for a Texans team that has been better than many thought, 2-0 ATS
Raiders -5.5 vs MIA, as I mentioned in several threads, how would an offensively challenged Finz team score enuff to keep up with Josh and the Bills. Raidas' are for real, attaboy Chuckie-
AZ -7 @ Jags. Same thing here, how will the Jags keep pace with a dynamic AZ offense while Trevor Lawrence is being chased by a good AZ pass rush-
DEN -11.5 vs NYJ./ Under 41.5. Broncos are built around defense. They won't light up the scoreboard but neither will the Jets who may not score 10 points.
CLE -7.5 vs CHI, Bears defense saved the day but don't think it'll be enuff vs Baker and the boys against an offensively challenged Bears team.
Chalk is looking good this week IMO. Covid watch continues

Thx LL! Disappointed with the Eagles yesterday, they could have won that game, TD called back and horrible razzle dazzle call on 4th and goal late 1st half. New coach, he'll learn.

Old school here too. Been to so many rock concerts back in the day, sometimes I can't even remember them all. Figured out later that's why people save their ticket stubs. For just pure rocking out, live, gimme some Ted Nugent. Pretty sure I was deaf for the next week! 3 times! Huh? What?

Very disappointed in Philly and the play calling throughout the game. Hopefully the coach learned something from that loss...I still feel like we were on the right side. It happens.
Good call on Tenn!
Bounce back like a gentlemen.

Cup, your Boyz put it on my Finz. Expected the loss just not quite like that. Statement game from BUFF. Surprised how many people were on MIA. Runaway division winner, no doubt

Champa Bay looking good again. Gonna have to come to Oldsmar and buy you a drink sometime, was up there just last week-

So, on an unrelated subject, went to the gym today, 1st time since February last year, gained a couple pounds, like Will Smith so eloquently said "baby daddy body," hello. Not down with that, worked out/played sports most of life, worse shape I've ever been in. Did a couple weeks of light cardio 1st, hoops, bike riding. If you're getting a little older, don't wait too long, it's going to be a tuff next few months but we'll get there. Took a break from beer too, 9 weeks today. That'll be my reward in about 3 or 4 months. Stay healthy!
