This is one of the most interesting games of the year so far. Feel like it pits “old school” Ravens with “new school” Lions. Lions used to struggle on the road, but this year, they surprised at KC to open the season, then they handled division rival GB at Lambeau, then just took care of the Bucs pretty easily this past week, when the Bucs were a popular home dog. This made me look into the Lions D, which seems to be the surprise so far this year..
Yards per play: 5
Points per play: 12
Rush yards per attempt: 2
Pass yards per attempt: 6
Pretty good. For reference, Ravens rank the following:
Yards per play: 2
Points per play: 1
Rush yards per attempt: 16
Pass yards per attempt: 1
BUT…Ravens haven’t played an “elite” offense yet. Stroud’s first pro start week 1, a hobbled Borrow week 2, Minshew week 3, DTR Cleveland week 4, K Pickett week 5, Tannehill/Willis week 6. That’s pretty gross.
I wouldn’t be too surprised if Detroit can do more than a lot of people are expecting here. My kneejerk reaction was to bet the Ravens. But may lay off..

Lions are the Sleeper team that people are now starting to take notice of, well balanced on both sides of the ball and well coached! I see a very bright future for them.

@ Seymourbukz
Lions have there league best offensive line in tack all the weapons except for Montgomery. Gibbs may play if not Craig Reynolds will do the job at RB St Brown, TE LaPorta, Josh Reynolds, TE Wright Jameson Williams all kinds of offensive weapons all playing and the D that completely stifled the Bucs all playing yup really banged up.

Last week it was Lions can't play outdoors again now this week its they are banged up wait for next week there will be another excuse why they won't win. This team is good just accept it.

I was wrong about last week. I checked the weather and it should be around 60° at kickoff in Baltimore so it will be perfect football weather with no rain. Jared Goff will be the best QB(sans Burrow if he had both legs) and Cinci and they only beat them by 3 and gave up 24. I think Detroit can get to 30 and keep the Ravens from that total. Ravens have had a lot of turnovers this year. Jackson has 3 INTs(only 5 TDs) and SEVEN Fumbles with losing FOUR of them. He has turned the ball over once per game. Goff on the other hand has also had 3 INT’s but has 11 TD’s to go with that. Jackson does have 4 Rush TD’s. It is clear who the better QB has been this year. In a QB league, I’ll take the better team with the better QB. Should have last week.

@NONEED4LUCK I live here..Windy as shit predicted for Sunday... Lions didnt run on the Bucs..Doubt they run on the Ravens either.. Ravens blew the 2 games they lost...Hopefully wind not as bad as expected...
Gotcha on weather. Lamar turning the ball over is what has lost them their two games. Lions didn't see the ball in OT in their loss. Also, it is a passing league. 10-20 mph winds aren't that bad, I am in the Midwest. 10 ok, 20 will be tough.

As a ravens fan i am not happy about what I am seeing from this team. While the D is great for BALTIMORE the O has been shaky. Six FGs last week. Lamar has been solid but doesn’t pass for a lot of yards and doesn’t throw a lot of TDs. He has red zone issues. He also turns the ball over in the fourth. Not a closer. The two losses they gave the games away. Coaching has been awful. bottom line I’d take Detroit.

take this with a grain of salt, last season there were 7 games with a team that scored 5 or more Field Goals and went 5-2 the following game.
the two losses were the two teams to kick 5 FGs and still lost the game, the Five teams that won the following week covered this week's line of -3 with one push.
Haven't had time to go back more seasons yet

Ravens have played the Lions four times. Two wins by two points and two blow outs. Ravens are not blowing the Lions out. I will buy the hook in this game as I think it’s a 3 point game either way, I just think it’s the Lions time.

Everyone on the Lions Bandwagon....And they deserve it.... But as we have seen the NFL is a week to week league...Just like the Niners played their best game vs Cowboys...then lose SU on the road vs Browns.. This could be the same spot for the Lions....Just a thought
