Haven’t seen too many picks yet but will keep track. We will get more as we get closer to Sunday.
Ravens just don't have a passing game, haven't for ages, go back to Flacco, Harbaugh grinds his way through games, Andrews one and only receiver for some time, will OBJ step up, needs to....
They were terrible vs. the Steelers, Tomlin (some coach him) outcoached and TJ Watt scared the shit out of them, Steelers have little in their cache, yet they step up and grind in division games and invariably win.
Lamar not a good thrower either throws too hard or mis reads a lot of where receivers are/should be
Detroit hard to fault, good coaching, precise with their plays, turnovers probably decide or Detroit wins....
Good luck to all

@ChOmP
yea yea yea...this week, @LAC, @NO, @Dal..
I can't help but lean Baltimore here. Lions haven't been tested by a top 5 type defense yet, let alone on the road. I'm no lions hater. I'm not on any bandwagon. This is just a bad spot. Take away all the hype surrounding whatever side, take away the history of "Detroit Lions," take away the decals and names from both teams. Just not a good spot for Detroit.
Throw in the fact that the Niners and Eagles lost. Detroit's feeling pretty fat and happy in the NFC..
Hmm, first home game in a month. Another plus for the Ravens. That crowd knows the hype that's coming to town..

this team is very good all the way around and Lamar Johnson is nowhere near the MVP of yesteryear

I am heavily invested in Lamar and Andrew’s in my fantasy leagues. So I watched every game this year. Their offense is just not good. Lamar needs more help. Their best WR is a rookie. Odell is washed. Their running backs are all backup calibre RBs. Nothing spectacular. I’m actually disappointed in the way they have played. I don’t think they will light it up vs a very underrated lions D. The Ravens defense will keep them in the game. I think they will lose straight up if not they will win on a field goal. Lions +3 may be the best value on the slate. Or Dolphins ML

Just looked at the "summer line" for this game on SportsBookReview.com
Lions @ Ravens (-2)
After what we've seen from these two teams so far this year, would you guess that the Lions would be BIGGER dogs to the key +3??
That is fishy.

@YouWish
Exactly.. what would the line be in Detroit with a 5-1 record this seems like a scheduled loss on the road to me.. Montgomery and Gibbs banged up is a bigger problem than some think especially if it’s windy and or wet.. when I say Goff is not good outdoors I mean it’s literally wet cold or windy (elements).. not just simply outside in warm weather like Tampa.. everyone thinks I’m simply saying outside..

Lamar played great against the Steelers...at least 2 but more like 3 TD passes dropped by Ravens' receivers and they were thrown perfectly. Steelers were lucky to win that game...via defensive fumble recovery turned into a TD.
Tomlin and the word outcoached should never be put in the same sentence (unless you are dissing him) IMO. The owner is on his side so there will never be a change but Steeler Nation by and large is fed up with him. If participation trophies are your goal then MT is your man but Steeler fans aim higher.

outside of week 1 vs Mahomes, who's the best QB Detroit's D has faced? Geno Smith?? Not Mayfield last week, not Young or Love. Ridder nope
that week 1 game is a very good example of this game, KC with a very good D and a mobile QB
Ive read some people saying Ravens haven't played anyone yet, Neither has the Lions

REAL fishy-like. Makes me like the home team today even more.

What asinine logic is that?
If two teams are considered EVEN with no leans either where
HOME team gets -3
AWAY team gets +3.

I feel the conditions favor the Ravens. We all know about the red zone issues but one thing for certain (or at least close to certain) is Tucker. It's his stadium, he's played windy, fall games in the past. JT knows the drill, knows his limits. Patterson on the other hand might be seeing tough conditions on rare occasions. From 40+, he's 72% (on 22 attempts), whereas Tucker is at 82% over 202 attempts.
When you're tasked to examine these FG type lines, kickers have a say in the outcome. The poster who noted the advanced line asks an important question. Why?
I think the Lions can take a loss here and not feel the pinch. National game on the horizon next week, that one is circled on the calendar.

Won't have to worry about Tucker when the Lions win by double digits. Lions can't afford a loss at anytime need home field advantage in the playoffs although all away stadiums this year when the Lions play have been filled with Honolulu Blue and Silver as it will be this week in Baltimore.

The closest team the Ravens will have played with a defense as good or better than Detroit’s are the Browns. They don’t have any playmakers where as Detroit still has a couple. Jared Goff has been lights out this season.
