Even though Jones ran over the NT from Oregon, that won't happen at the next level. If this guy bans out in college, he could be the next Duante Culpepper.

I'm not sure Cardale would of gotten drafted, had he elected to enter the NFL Draft. I'd bet a ton of money at -120 he'd have gone fourth round or later. He said it himself, he isn't ready for the next level , and I think that's pretty obvious.

The issue is will he play? If not, then it was a dumb financial decision. There's no way he'll improve his draft stock by being a backup. Why not strike while the iron is hot? Even a third round pick pays better than being a college kid.
And it's not like he can never go back to college after his playing days are over. So it isn't as if he has to choose between education and NFL.
