How can anyone in their right mind go against the NFL's current tour de force led by virtuoso QB Patty Mahomes with Big Red at his corner plus their entire entourage on a quest for the first ever NFL three-peat? They seemingly can do no wrong. Taking a glance at some of these stats they may not seem as flashy as we're accustomed to seeing from Mahomes but the Chiefs just keep finding ways to get it done. I'm not really going to bother spending time dissecting the numbers and matchups. Really, there is no point. They are here for a reason - to defend their title and try to make history. In their defence, the Chiefs did play a bit of a tougher schedule than the Eagles, hence the amount of one score games they overcame. However, the fact of the matter is this..
We all know what Mahomes can do with the game on the line... but what about Jalen Hurts when it comes to the big moment? He has yet to deliver when the spotlight is on him. Granted, Hurts did play the game of his life in their last Super Bowl meeting but that wasn't even enough to stop the Chiefs. Will he have another performance like that again? Perhaps maybe not. Saquon Barkley and the Eagles defense will have to collectively play out of their minds. Considering the hurdle that lies ahead of them.. man, good luck with that!
My current Super Bowl sides currently stands at 11-4 ATS since 2010. For the last 2 Super Bowls I have bet on the Chiefs, some fortunate wins for sure. I have backed Mahomes in all 4 Super Bowl appearances. My last Super Bowl loss was against Brady. So without further ado, my pick is ...........

Wanna hear something funny? "Funny" as in....totally pathetic? From Week 7 through Week 15, the Chiefs were a terrible 2-7 ATS. I bet against them twice during those nine games and went 0-2 ATS.

Bad breaks. I stay away from the Chiefs in the regular season for that reason. They are the 9th least profitable team in the regular season since 2020, except in the playoffs lol.

I feel like the total is gonna be close. Don't see a high score game like Super Bowl 57 was, more clock control. 27-23, or 26-23. Teasing the Over sounds good. 23-20 or 24-20. I'd probably tease the Under personally lol

Good luck JLTP.
I am not really interested in this Super Bowl, hence my write up isn't that big. Don't feel the need to cap this game down to the nitty gritty bc of said perceived favoritism. I'll watch some here and there though.

Understandable but that's okay because in the end you made your pick and I believe as you do the correct one and if not then we move on and all I ask of this game is a clear cut, no nonsense, truth be seen no doubt and official Superbowl winner.
Good luck on yourplay as well Digi thank you

Stay away from big point spreads for KC.... and as a general guideline, I follow this rule for any team..
KC covered all spreads when favored by 3 points or less, and this is precisely the set up we have for the SB.
