Season 6-0 +$1,200. Like one so far. Still long way away from kickoff so play could change but looks good right now. Line is so low obviously because of McNabb being out. This team still has a great defense and the Saints are AWAY from home which is the ONLY place these guys play good. Lets take a look last year  when the Saints were asked to leave New Orleans to go into a place with the "high powered" offense against a garbage QB. I say against a garbage QB because this can be the ONLY reason why you would take the saints at -1 because of Kolb starting.

 

2008:

Saints @ Bears and the neck beard Kyle Orton. Saints lose 27-24. Brees 2 picks

 

Saints @ Tampa and the ageless one Jeff Garcia ( went 9-23 with 119 yards in this game ) Saints lose 23-20. Brees 3 picks

 

Saints @ Atlanta against the next great thing Matt Ryan ( not garbage by any means but still unproven ) Saints lose 34-20. Brees 3 picks.

 

Saints @ Panthers against Mr. 11 turnovers in his last 2 games Jake Delhomme. Saints lose 30-7. Brees 0 TD 1 pick

 

Saints @ Redskins against Jason Campbell. Saints lose 24-29. Brees 2 picks.

 

 

My point being against all these teams they all have above average defenses which makes the Saints a very one dimensional team. You cant do this in the NFL. Im sorry Saints but you ARE NOT running on the Eagles. Take a look last week against the Panthers and the best ground game in the NFL with Stewart and Williams. 72 yards between the 2 of them. You take your chance on a team with no defense and no running game and ill be taking the team who I KNOW will be able to run the ball and I KNOW will be able to play defense. You make some good points...I have the Saints PK.  Phil won't stop Brees with all his weapons and will be one dimensional with Kolb at QB.

I  can see   eagles  winning..  this week they will go back with brian westbrook  and the run   without  mcnabb. we  will probably  see  Jeff   garcia in the  2nd  qtr..   no way, now  how, will brees   throw  another   6  td's...  maybe  2  .

ManRam your philosophy on this game is totally wrong. You will lose money betting the NFL thinking about last year. Every team finds a way to improve there weak spots from the year past. For example the Saints defense last week ONLY gave up TWO touchdowns to the Lions. Detroit was 1 for 13 on 3rd downs. Also this defense forced 3 interceptions. My point is the Saints has a NEW DEFENSIVE CORDINATOR IN GREG WILLIAMS. He is one of the most well RESPECTED IN THE GAME! He came in and got rid of the TWO starters at CORNER last year. JASON DAVID AND MIKE MIKENZIE! He brought in Jabori Greer and rookie from last year who was starting before he got injured TRACY PORTER IS NOW STARTING. They also have BALL HOG DARREN SHARPER at Safety. FOR ALL OF YOU WHO IS BETTING THIS GAME OFF OF LAST YEAR NEED TO WAKE UP AND REALIZE THIS IS NOT THE SAME SAINTS DEFENSE. DETROIT SCORED 27 POINTS BUT TWO WERE OFF OF THE DEFENSE THE OTHER TOUCHDOWNS WERE SPECIAL TEAMS AND TURNOVERS. I like the Saints in this game, and I think the sharps do to. This line is moving in the favor of New Orleans. I expect the SQUARES to be betting PHILLY off of what NEW ORLEANS did LAST YEAR!! That's not a smart way of gambling and you wont make a profit thinking like that. I been doing this for a long time and this true people. You will not make money betting on sports of you think about long term You have to think short term.

 

New Orleans -1 , new improved defense and I think they will prove it to the squares tommorrow. I'm rolling with the smart money!

Love it.  And although I'm a homer, money has no heart and this is the right side to be on IMO.

Saints are winless in Philly since 1991 and you're right... New Orleans is dogshit on the road.  The have 6 road wins in the last 2 years and their all against bullshit teams with the exception of Carolina two years ago.  Eagles 7-1 ATS the last 8 meetings.

NO has a running back name bell. Which I believe N.O will not be one demensional. I love this play as NO should score some points and philly will have toscore at least 24 points to hang in this one. I dont think they will. NO is the play good luck though with your play ram.
