Yup. Superbowl is in Atlanta home of the Falcons. You think the Falcons are over what happened 2 years ago? I think not. Wouldnt be surprised if Pats players start coming down with food sickness or contamination... lol okay probably not but it is interesting to think about.. how uncomfortable could Atlanta make the pats..

You realize most of the fans attending that game wont be from Atlanta?
True but the hotel, restaurant, and other personal service staff will be from Hotlanta. How about some embittered fans stage some sort of alarm prank at the Pats' hotel in the middle of the night before the game?

Back in 1976 (January 4th)...leading up to the championship game played in Pittsburgh for the '75 season, as the Oakland Raiders got off the bus to go into their hotel, a crowd of Steeler fans physically attacked some of the Raider football players. Punches and pushing were involved...there was real hatred between those two franchises back in the 70s.
Of course, that is when NFL football was still a sport...though it was not 100% clean by any means.
Had the refs tried to pull what they pulled in New Orleans yesterday in Pittsburgh in those years, God help those refs as the field would have been mobbed by vigilantes seeking justice. The Pittsburgh cops might have joined the crowd.

Interesting take about LIII being in Atlanta, I hadn't really thought about the LI connection. I guess I'm not that superstitious but it is definitely an intriguing side narrative...
