I am doing better in my pool ATS than I am straight up which is crazy to think? So many upsets this year. I won my survivor pool in week 5 this year that had 45 guys in it. Definitely been a weird year where money management is a must.
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

When games can be decided by what 1 player says to another player, you know the refs have to much say so on who wins and who loses.Has anybody ever heard what Chris Jones said to Matt Ryan during the week 3 game between KC-Indy.I remember the league saying that Shawn Smith (the ref who threw the flag)would say what the specific comment Jones made, and it would be added to the official game report.Per the league, the official game report has been filed. However neither the league office nor anyone else is saying anything about what Jones had supposedly said.
And just for some comparison, how many times has that penalty ever been called in the entire history of the NFL, before it happened in this week 3 game, exactly none. And being that this week is week 12 in the season, how many times has that penalty been called in the next 9 weeks after it happened, exactly none, zilch, zippo.Oh and just for the record 75% of the money on that game was on KC.Tell me again who controls the outcome of some games?

What happened is that the betting lines are more accurate when it comes to implied probability for the actual number. At this point in the season, oddsmakers have more data and it becomes apparent how effective or ineffective they are at doing certain things, which makes it easier for them to crunch and then come up with a figure that represents a fair betting number. Early in the season they don't know as much, so they aren't quite as sure which teams are good and bad, including how they match up statistically. You're much more likely to capitalize on their mistakes if you can judge the quality of the teams before the oddsmakers have their data. I knew coming into this week that not a lot of underdogs would win because of that. I also saw a few games where effort was lacking and the players barely tried on defense.
