Definitely seems like a trap game, but may just be perception that the Eagles are better than their record says. I'm an Eagles fan and that just isn't the case right now...their roster is old and it has bitten them...earlier in the year they had a lot of injuries on defense, now the defense is getting healthy and playing much better but the offense is decimated. Jeffrey may be back but likely no Howard, Lane Johnson and D Jax already out. Seahawks or no play IMO.

Lancer makes a good point - Eagles season is on the line and they have typically played well in that situation the last few years...several times w/ Foles at the helm last year and even as early as week 4 this year going into Lambeau on a short week and winning on TNF w/ the defense not playing well.

Seattle is overrated...Look at their points differential....They have won pretty much all their close games...Cincy..Pitt...Rams...Cleveland..Tampa...In reality should have lost 3 of those games...and should be a .500 team.... 7 of their 8 wins have been by less than a TD... Very fortunate/lucky team...

This dude isn’t an Eagles fan, or just not a knowledgeable one at that. This team is much better than the record indicates. Offense isn’t decimated, they just played a very good Pats D. Eagles win and cover Sunday, they might not have a loss left in the schedule. Seahawks D is Swiss cheese.

He may not be but I am. Wentz is a big problem. I am anti wentz. All eagles fans that says he’s good are delusional and in denial. He was a one season wonder. Got hurt and foles finishes the job for em. WAYYYYY Overpaid QB and will never be elite. Our receivers barely get separation and drop a lot of passes and when they don’t, wentz either throws it in the ground, above the heads, or holds onto it to long. Need Howard back and have to make more screen plays to sanders and utilize him at the wide out spot as well. Defense has improved lately..we were depleted in the secondary just a few weeks ago (Minnesota game). So after stating all of the above. Eagles win and cover because Seattle is worse.

as a hawks homer I’m agitated that this was kicked out of the prime time slot on Sunday night. Now Seattle has to “get up” for the noon slot on the east coast. Seattle coming off the bye should help. Just hope that Seattle can have the same pass rush as they did a few Monday nights ago in San Fran because they’ve had nowhere near that kind of pressure all season.

I concur with two of the previous posters: there are no trap games. It's a common expression, but trap games do not exist in terms of the pointspread, which is made using power ratings. No one is trying to trap you into taking a certain team. As for the game, I'm leaning strongly to Seattle. They're healthier, playing better, and they have the league's current MVP. And on top of all that, they're getting points.

There was a radio show 2 and 3 years ago with Chad Millman and Bob Scucci called 'Behind the Bets' which just reaffirmed what I thought to be true for the past 20 years (the linemaker handicaps public perception)...oh well, we all believe what we want to believe in the end don't we? BOL to all...

Ahh the refs... AZ at SF. 3rd & 5. pass to TE, catches it almost makes the yellow line. The yard marker was at least a foot past the yellow line which is supposed to be official, not the yellow line. Call on field is First Down. They review it, he's looking at what is obviously not a 1st Down. I'm trying to find the game again to watch it but I didn't grab it. 49ers should've ran their kicker that kicked a ball into the tunnel vs. Seattle under pressure. NO, 1st down, next play touchdown SF. And now the RAISE. Line started at 14 or somewhere near, bet down to 10. I stopped watching when AZ turned it over on 1st down with :30 sec left, I was on AZ ML. A miracle occurs, SF scores twice in last 2 minutes to win some and probably push more.
The refs were real good to SF the last 2 games... Why the love for them? If they let the linemen hold, they can control any game they wish. There were multiple holds against SF vs. Sea that they didn't call. It's like Peyton Manning is back.

Plus if you are using up to date power ratings, what better one to use than DVOA which shows the up to date relative strengths and weaknesses of all teams using all plays during the current season...and if you do that Baltimore is ranked #3 on offense and #10 on defense and the Rams are ranked #20 on offense and #8 on defense...the overall DVOA ranks Baltimore #2 and LAR #12.
Seems to me that if these power ratings are legit for you then the line should be more than Ravens -3.
Considering what has transpired this past month with that Rams' doo doo offense and Baltimore steamrolling everyone that the public perception would be that the Ravens are supermen. So why the trap line of Ravens -3...oops I forgot, there is no such thing as a trap line.

You lost all credibility with your first three grade school length sentences. He's already established himself, was on the way to an MVP year in 2017 and had the best season EVER in year 3 of a third year QB. Don't let the WR deficiencies cloud your thought process. I know it hurts, but try to actually look at this logically.

He had like 11 good games lol. Gets hurt. Foles does exactly what wentz did if not better. The offense is what made wentz good. they give him a 4 year deal for a trillion dollars before knowing how shittty was gonna be coming back from his injury.
