My 2 cents....basing a pick off of a regular season winning result, tied in with a losing result the following week, as the OP states is just rookie handicapping.
We might as well check and see if the game was played on an odd or even number time of day or find out what Cam had for breakfast.
If his logic is going to provide any insight into what side to gamble on, then we must consider the entire schedule .In week 9 vs Green Bay the Panthers jumped out to a 4 TD lead only to watch Arron Rodgers come up just short. The next 3 weeks the Panthers won via blowout.
Carolina repeated the same formula in week 13 by almost letting New Orleans come back from a big deficit. In week 14, at home, the Panthers beat Atlanta 38-0.
The bottom line is that you can use and twist statistics to rationalize any gambling pick. This post makes the OP look like a clown. His thoughts on this game, at least in this post, should not have anyone rushing to the ticket window to bet Arizona.
Give a better argument, and maybe someone might tail you.
I agree with you 100%. I just like to start discussions on here. Honestly I wouldn't call it handicapping. It's really not, but last week history held true. Pats and Broncos both got it done. Broncos on opening line up to 6.5 obv. I nailed that game perfectly. I mentioned in someone elses thread in the beginning of the week that I thought if people wanted Denver hey needed to grab the 6.5 and also that the line would go up and if my went up to as high as 7.5 that I saw and once it was that high I knew it was inflated. How could you give Big Ben 7.5? NAILED IT! Yes I'm a clown. At least I post winners in here. It's the guys that never post a game, but always have all the opinion in everyone's threads that need to take a hike.

Hey! Congrats on getting the games right last week. Sometimes gambling for the individual comes down to silly stuff like this. On the occasion when I am on a bad streak, I sometimes play opposite what I think. I have no rational for a play like that and I am certainly not handicapping the game in those situations. We all do stuff like that.
I'm just saying that your idea is not really something that others should follow as "advise".....just like my "opposite" theory. I get that you're just having fun.
For the record, I like the Panthers this week. I will be in the stadium screaming as loud as I can.
