But he wasn&#x2019;t down until touched. This isn&#x2019;t college where the play is over wether you were touched or not. If Houston doesn&#x2019;t touch him the clock would just run out.

this happened one game last season, im too lazy to look up the rulebook but under 2 min. if player voluntarily or involuntarily goes down the clock is stopped.

Fucking Romeo Crennell stupid ass sends just 2 fucking rushers to Brees and played 10 yards away from all Receivers when all they needed was 5 fucking yards!!

Yes the saints use their last timeout. The clock just doesnt stop under 2 mins when a player goes down. But they couldnt call timeout until the ref blew the play dead right when the WR was touched by the DB.
