Just another season underway and not too many people can pick winners better than me.
In college, I don't see a reason not to take UNC. Take the Heels +3 and that's really the play of the weekend.
But, most people want their NFL action. So, here goes , take the Bills -3.5 and Fitzpatrick should have a good day for you fantasy owners.
Other games this Sunday are Eagles +1. The history of MNF home winners going on road the following week as favorites is rough. As of now, I could see the Eagles giving the Ravens a loss on Sunday.
Rams +4. Not often a rookie QB can go on the road for a team's home opener as a favorite and win the game, much less cover a 4 point spread. You gotta be thinking Rams here.
Saints -1. I've been saying this for 6 months now, Cam Newton could be one of the most over rated players I've seen in the past 10 years. His fantasy numbers in 2011 were good. But, I just don't see the performance in "real" NFL. Saints don't do great on the road and/or outside of the dome not to mention everything else going on with that franchise, so this is a little risky. But, how often do you get Brees at a pickem?
Dallas -3 @ Seattle. How do you NOT take the Boys in this spot? Russell Wilson at Seattle's home opener will hear the boo birds. This is one of those TGTB so watch out, but I'm liking the Boys.
Recap:
Tarheels +3
Bills -3.5
Eagles +1
Rams +4
Saints -1
Cowboys -3

That Tarheels game was a mess from the jump. That would have been a damn miracle at the end there... I'm glad they went down big early so I was able to just chalk up my loss and move on. Nice effort anyways, I suppose.
Good luck this Sunday.
