Who have they really beat the last month?? A Jets team with turmoil and lack of talent A Cowboys team with a bad hand, defense, and run game A Falcons team that cant stop Pee-Wee Herman running the ball
Seems too easy to say the Giants will cover cause they almost won last game vs GB, but mark my words-
Aaron Rogers will put up crazy numbers and steam roll these Giants

Fully agree with your assessment on the giants weak opponents. I'm also weary of how much media hype has also come over them. when asked which team is the most dangerous, majority, probably all analysts say its the new york giants!!! This will sway majority of regular joes towards the horrid g-men. Especially being able to grab them at 9.5. huge bait it is.

IT'S NOT TOO EASY BUT IT WILL HAPPEN. The Pack won by 3 in N.Y. so line should be 6 in G.B. 9 is OVERLAY. The running game came alive last week with BRADSHAW and Brandon Jacobs 6' 4", 265 lbs replaced Peewee Herman. The D-line is healthy for the first time this year, OSI. out and TUCK dinged in 1st game vs. G.B. With Pierre- Paul ..they are ready to rumble.Eli beat them @ G.B. in 07 S.B. DRIVE. CRUZ will get wide open vs. G.B. DEF;.THEY DID IT BEFORE.THEY'LL DO IT AGAIN.

its not their fault who they play and like u said, they played the packers in hard fought game so how in the world can you discount that? and the gmen won some of those games pretty convincingly. They won 4 out of their last 5 games so how can you really say negative things? lol.. They did beat Dallas in two crucial games to knock them out of the playoffs and they knock the Jets out of the playoffs pretty much too, and of course beat atlanta in the playoffs...
Im not a giants fan but you are really nitpicking at why they wont cover the spread. im not saying they will but to be critical of who they beat in the past 5 games, its not their fault who they played and they did play 4 games against worthy opponents playoff teams or teams playing to make the playoffs...

you can always even reverse the argument and say who has GB beaten in their last 5 games lol to be 9 point favs? They beat NY barely, they beat oak, they lost to KC, they beat Chicago and det in a meaningless game for GB.. So what do we learn from that? not much..
Like i said, its a stupid argument to look at who teams have beaten in the past month. It is not nearly as important as you think it is...
But if you want to talk about it, Giants had better wins in the past 5 games than the GB packers because GB had 1st wrapped up pretty much, and NY had to claw their way and had some must win games to get where they are...
So NY More Important Wins in the past 5 games than the Packers w/o question...

I see and agree with your point. We should not focus on the last five, but we should focus on the entire season. Green Bay dominated offensively all year but strulled on defense. These defensive struggles go over looked because of the high numbers Rodgers was putting up. Eli is a playmaker and the Giants have a top 5 passing game in the league. I will give the edge to Green Bay on offense but I think the momentum with Giants and the lack thereof from Green Bay will even up the offensive teams though. Then we look at the defenses and not that the Giants even have a good defense but they are at least average with decent front 4. They clearly have the advantage when comparing defenses. I dont see how you can justify giving this team 7+ points right now. Regardless of what you guys think Green Bay is they still let up points and Eli knows how to put up points.
