Nearly every team takes a step back and has a down year after that. Those that continue to excel usually win. It reminds me of when the Pats back to back AFCCG in 12 and 13, then kept chugging and got the ring in 14. Or KC responding in 2019 after choking at home in 18. Or Manning finally getting the ring with Colts and DEN after multiple chokes leading up to that with both teams. 

-First round bye is locked up at this point. They will be -350, -350, -1500 last 3 games. Cowboys probably lose 1 too as a safety net between AZ or @PHI 

-Value is there. Worst case playoff lines: GB -200 divisional, -170 NFCCG, +120 vs KC = +395. More likely, -300, -200, -150 SB (KC isn't making it) = +233

-Who is beating them in NFC? 0% chance of losing at home again. It was always obvious TB was not repeating their fluke of last year. Now it is a 100% foregone conclusion TB is done. Brady is BROKEN. Godwin is done. They get bounced first round. Dallas is a fraud who have one quality win all year. Prescott, McCarthy? Losers. LAR, AZ? Beyond exposed. 

-KC will lose before the SB. Defense will regress to their shi t form. Muhholmes is still not right. Literally no one else in the AFC would have a change to beat GB in the SB

-Getting healthy. Best OT in the league is coming back this week Bahkteri. Elite CB is coming back Alexander. Elite pass rusher is coming back Smith. 

-Last time GB had a top 10 D in yards and scoring they won SB in 2010. When Alexander/Smith come back, they will have a really elite D. They are loaded in secondary now with Stokes, Douglas, Alexander. The secondary lost them the game to TB last year, now it's fixed.

I bet GB to win the superbowl earlier this year at pretty good odds. And i believe that they can. Only problem is Tom Brady. Maybe bc he's good and maybe bc he's very lucky. either way beating brady is the path to the superbowl and has been for the last 20 years. GL boys.

-GB - worst single playoff game by a DB in playoff history - Kevin King gifting 2 TD + game winning PI to TB. Refs swallow whistle on 4 would be PI against TB, then blow the whistle for the first time to give TB the game on a 3rd and long where TB overthrows Godwin. Lafleur also choked from inexperience. Brady in this game was outplayed by Rodgers - check the stats. Adams also dropped a TD, never happens. 

-KC O-line evaporated in perhaps the greatest defense game in SB in modern history. 

All NOTHING to do with Brady. Basically every SB he's won is the product of happenstance. This creates a false perception with people that Brady is the best QB, which is obviously wrong. Rings are circumstantial and non-indicative of individual play from a QB. 

TB is obviously a fraud team this year and no Godwin is devastating. 

Watch GB destroy TB by 30 points in the divisional, which will propel them to new heights with overflowing confidence. 

Right now I see GB being disrespected by odds makers like Broncos were in 2015 and Eagles 2017.

You don't see Mathew Stafford a bit of liability to the Rams? He got away with three INTs last game against the Vikings, Rams' stout defense and strong run game bailed Stafford out. He could have easily been intercepted four or five times last week vs Vikings.  

totally agree the Bucs had 3 turnovers and won the game, the odds of that happening were so slim but of course the refs made sure it happened so they could have their home superbowl game with the most hyped superbowl of all time Mahomes vs Brady. I heard fools on the radio talking about this was going to be the greatest super bowl ever Lol.

Facing KC in the SB, I can’t recall the last time chief’s D faced a QB the caliber of Rodgers, likewise for Packers D and Mahomes.

Should be a st8 shootout and very exciting super bowl. 

If both these teams get in, I feel it a coin flip, 50/50 either way. 

if KC gets knocked out early, which I happen to agree with you as well, then I think this years SB is Green Bay’s for the taking. 

alexander just activated today, hopefully he, smith, and bahktiari just getting ready for the playoffs. They’ve all had most of the season and a ton of time to heal up. 

Would love to see KC playing both the colts and the bills in the playoffs. I think even NE would give them some struggles. 

Packers defense 11th in  yards and 13 in scoring, not top 10 in either one.

Last season they were better, 9th in yards, 13th in scoring defense..

2010 Packers defense was 5th in yards, 2cd or 3rd in scoring, the team is not close to that Packers defense.

Of course with 2 games left they could improve on those rankings or they could get worse.

As a no. 1 seed assuming they finish with the no. 1 seed they right now don't crack the top 10 in margin of victory.

Go find a SB Champ as a no. 1 seed that does not crack the top 5 in margin of victory let-alone the top 10.

You will be hard pressed to find one.

Since 2000 only 2015 Broncos and 2003 Pats were no. 1 seeds that didn't finish in top 5 in margin of victory but both finished in top ,10.

Broncos 9th and Pats 6th by 1 pt from 5th place 

Broncos are the closest to Packers but the difference is Broncos we're like +72 yards margin while Packers are something like + 28.

Most teams winning SB are +38 or better. Even +38 is low end, the better stronger teams are +50 or better.

So Packers don't match up in either yards margin or pt margin.

The one area Packers very good is QBPR margin, that gives them a good shot but to weak in other areas. 

2010 Packers were 2cd in PT margin although they went only 10-6 and a WC team, not even a division winner let-alone a no. 1 seed.

2010 Packers were like +49 in yards margin.

Just don't see 2021 Packers as a sure-fire SB team.

How many of your examples in the past played the 2 best divisions in the AFC and NFL AND the best team in the AFC for an extra game (KC)?

So if GB didn't allow backdoor TDs in many games this year, didn't have a 35 point outlier loss in week 1, which would all give them a top 5 MOV, they would magically be a contender in your eyes? LOL 

And when they shut down the Lions and Vikings to finish the season, making them top 10 easily in MOV and D, they will be a contender magically?

Actually blowing out bad teams is one of the best indicators from the conference finals to the SB .

Close wins are the worst indicator, this was already been researched by football outsiders, it's called guts & stomps.

Stomps have been proven much better indicators the gutting out close wins. And stomps VS losing teams is the best indicator.

And that is why PT margin is important.

I'm just giving you the history of SB winners, up to you if you want to buck that history.

BarrelledIn-It wouldn't appear you need more evidence that GB has an excellent chance to win the SB, but remember that GB Offensive Line was very banged up in the NFCCG last year.

Further assisting TB, KC OL was also injured. I still recall Mahomes running halfway around Tampa...

Special Teams are pretty bad for the Packers..In fact they are 32nd according to DVOA.. Historically speaking a team has never won the Superbowl being last in Special Teams.. I like their team though especially when they get some key players back..GL 

They're one of the worst I've ever seen ...That Bears game would've been atrocious for a bad jv team ....

They aren't even getting out of the NFC. Dallas's defensive line will be breathing down Rodgers back all day long. You can't overlook the most dominating pass rush in the NFL.

I can’t recall a season where the gap in odds to win it all was so large toward the end. 
Vegas has chiefs and Packers pretty far ahead of everyone else. 
if they wanted money on other teams, wouldn’t they do exactly what they’re doing, giving long odds this close to season’s end on teams that seem like they have a great shot to win it all? 
bumping Tampa bay to +700 from wherever they were, +450/500 before the saints game just seems like putting the bait out for the average gambler. 
bills, Dallas, rams all at +800 odds or better? Seems like the “obvious choice” to the avrg gambler over gb/chiefs at a measly +400/450. Just my thoughts but I feel like Vegas has taken a position on these two teams vs everyone else
