GucciCapper wanted to get a Christmas Streak going so everyone would be able to buy their loved ones some extra nice presents this year. Unfortunately, that did not come to fruition as GucciCapper has been UP and DOWN lately with GucciCapper's NBA/College Football/NFL picks. No matter what would have happened these last few weeks, GucciCapper was going to make this GucciCapper's LARGEST play of the season. After this game is over, GucciCapper recommends taking the money and doing something productive with it. Buying the wife a nice present, the children some extra toys or simply taking a nice vacation. These gems don't come too often, but GucciCapper is EXTREMELY CONFIDENT that this will work today.
So who are we taking? Even though GucciCapper lives in South Korea, GucciCapper is PROUD to be an American. And what does a proud American do? They take "America's Team" on a DO or DIE game to make the playoffs. GucciCapper is not going to lay the points. GucciCapper is going to take the -130 Moneyline just to rest easy. This could be a blowout, this could be a nail biter but nonetheless, the Cowboys WILL win tomorrow in Philly. Here's why.
1) Dak is not Tony Romo. In 2012, GucciCapper was in a hotel room in South Lake Tahoe as a young buck with over 15K on this game. GucciCapper was positive that Romo and the Cowboys would beat RG3 and the Redskins and make the playoffs. GucciCapper was ABSOLUTELY disgusted after the game and thought about hanging up gambling for good. Fast forward 7 years later, and GucciCapper is backing these Cowboys in the same exact situation. Guys, Romo is not the quarterback. As up and down as Dak has been, he has been great against the Eagles in his career. Don't let the injury news bother you. The only injuries you have to be concerned about is all the injuries on the Eagles. Dak will get it done tonight and the Cowboys will host a playoff game at home.
2) Talking about Dak, lets not forget about Zeke. The Cowboys put up huge rushing numbers against the Rams last week and GucciCapper expects Zeke to "EAT" today. Zeke has NEVER lost to the Eagles guys. As a whole, this whole Cowboys team usually beats these Eagles up pretty good. Expect Dak to hand the ball off to Zeke 25+ times and Zeke to eat up this Philly defense.
3) Jason Garrett. It's DO or DIE for him. As bad as the Cowboys have been down the stretch, NONE of it matters if the Cowboys win today. We will see the boy wonder get it done tonight and we will see Jerry Jones celebrating in the suites. If these Cowboys lose today, Garrett will be gone. These Cowboys will go thru a major overhaul. Jerry Jones will be extremely agitated. GucciCapper just doesn't see this happening.
4) Wentz sucks. GucciCapper has backed Wentz on multiple occasions this year and GucciCapper has seen enough. The guy flat out sucks this year. Yes, he doesn't have any running backs or wide receivers, but Wentz holds the ball way too long and makes really bad decisions. GucciCapper would be utterly shocked if Wentz gets the job done. GucciCapper expects to hear the Philly boo birds out early in this one.
5) The what-if scenario.. If the Eagles didn't have all their players hurt, this would have probably been a good year for them. No pressure on the Eagles tomorrow as they can simply make the excuse that they had too many injuries this year. No one will be calling for Doug's head coaching job. After the dust settled, people will forget about this season for the Eagles.
6) The Weather. No rain. Very light wind. Not too cold. Perfect weather for the Cowboys.
GucciCapper could go on and on about why the Cowboys will win this game. GucciCapper is NOT going to lay the points but GucciCapper is VERY CONFIDENT that they will cover the spread. GucciCapper would be utterly disgusted if GucciCapper lost because the Eagles tried to win on a two point conversion or something and the Cowboys won by 1. Therefore, GucciCapper is taking the Cowboys -130 for the largest wager of GucciCapper's season.
GucciCapper wishes everyone a Merry early Christmas. Don't fade this one boys, GucciCapper has never been as sure on a game as this one. As the saying goes, You can lead a horse to water but can't force it to drink. Boys, DRINK up on this one. GucciCapper is EXTREMELY CONFIDENT that the Boys ain't losing!
