what do u mean u dont know what happened to the eagles???? u saw the exact same thing happen to them twice to the cowboys... its not a fluke when it happens every time buddy... they shut down mcnabb and jackson twice.. what the hell made u think they had no chance to do it again... and i dont know what u see in your saints man... they are a good team.. but nowhere near a complete team... no defense... no championship.. period

So who lost 4 out of 5? It sure as $hit wasn't the Vikings. Perhaps you should again post some facts and not just your opinion. MIN actually went 2-3 in the last five. By the way, how was the Saints record during this time? The same! Losing their last three straight including their last two straight at home (and the CAR game was on the ROAD and not at HOME). BOL because you will need it!
Guys Minny had to win in Chicago to lock up second seed, and blow it against one of the worst teams in the NFC. Then have to play starters week 17 against a team that doesn't care to play any football and put a romping on them. HELLO!!!! The Jets blew out Cincy, they also beat Indy. Are they now the favorite against SD this weekend? The Vikings haven't been playing as well in the last 5 weeks of the season. Favre has thrown more picks in those 5 weeks than he did all season. Petersen just doesn't have the same explosivness. Missing EJ Henderson, now you have a Rookie LB in a playoff game on primetime. Minny has not been playing well, and the Cowboys have. Their Defense has been stellar. They only allowed 31 points in their past 4 games. They held NO to 17, one touchdown the came relatively late in the game. Shut out Washington, and Philly, then beat Philly handedly again. It wasn't cuz Philly sucked or didn't want it enough, they got beat by a good team. Romo just finished the best month of his career throwing 11 td's and only 2 picks. Barber is good when he's 100%, Jones and Choice seem to do quite well. Witten and Austin are threats, and as of late Williams has come around. This is not the team anybody wants to face now. Dallas will beat Minny then probably meet up with NO. Arizona has a sick offense, but they get in a shootout like that again, but with NO and they are dead. I would take BREES!!! anyday in a shootout against Warner. Fitzgerald wishes he had a QB like Brees. Warner is good but this Brees throws bombs!!!. Sharper is Dangerous out there. I am pretty sure he leads the league in picks and picks returned for a td. NO see you in the NFC Championship.

Here is my take on the Vikings.............They haven't been playing well because Childress has been trying to harness Favre............He took off the harnesses last game, and Childress is facing the fact that you have to let Favre do what he does best...........sling the rock.........He was trying so hard to have the run open up the pass but has realized that won't work............Favre will be slinging that shit around next and thats FO SHO. Vikings have a great D line which matches up well against the Dallas run game.............

You know, the Vikings are a "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts kind of team." They have something going for them, right now, that is hard to articulate. I don't know that I would bet "on" them but I am definitely not betting "against" them. I am looking forward to the game but picking winner is a coin flip (at least that's how I see it). If I were forced to pick a winner I would pick the Vikings. They are still fresh from playing competitively while the Colts have rested a lot and I am just not sure all of that rest is good. There really can be "too much of a good thing."

Note: If you believe picking a winner in this game is truly a coin flip then you want to bet on the Cowboys money line (+130). That bet will show a profit in the long run... you can win just 44% of those coin flips and still come out ahead.
44 x +130 = +5720 56 x -100 = -5600

LOL says a DAL homer. This is what I would like people to back up what they say. So you say MIN hasn't play well the last five weeks. I will agree with you on the road they have not but historically most good teams are .500 on the road anyway (notice I said good and not great teams) but at home is where the good teams also get it done. MIN is 8-0 at home winning by a margin of around 18 points. The last five weeks they only had two home games and won both of them by 20 or more points. Lets look at who they played since you apparently just remember the last game. MIN put a wooping on CIN winning by 20 points (30-10) who nearly everyone in this forum (I am sure you included) played CIN +7 and/or ML. This was a laugher from the opening kick. Then MIN destroyed NYG 44-7. Now am I not mistaken but isn't this the same NYG team that beat your DAL team twice this season? Sure I will give you that they had more injuries of late but the fact that this team absent a couple key player came into your house and beat your mighty DAL by the score of 33-31 says something.
For the record, NYG was just as motiviated as PHI at the start of the game. Once they got down early (and down A LOT I MIGHT ADD) they did roll over. However, watching PHI play the last two weeks I have to say they did the same thing. So I don't give my much credit for beating apparently a PHI team who could care less either.
Can DAL come into MIN and win ABSOLUTELY but will they is the question. I will take the home team who is undefeated at home, has a great record against NFC East teams at home, has a great record in the playoffs at home (yes I know they lost last year to PHI but look at historical records here not just one game), and also has an extra weeks rest.
I wish you the best and I do hope it is a good game but don't come on here like SaintsFan trying to tell everyone it is over before it even begins without at least some facts, trends, evidence, something other than your own idiotic unsubstantiated viewpoint because let me tell you something no one really gives a $hit about your point of view. Back it up with evidence and we will all be listening!

Wow great speech. If you actually read my post there is tons of "facts" in there. Nonetheless I am not taking anything away from Minny. They are a good football team. Based on play as of late for both teams, I would side with the Boys. Philly had something to gain in both games, 1 a division champion and 2 a next round in the playoffs and they got hammered both games. NYG had nothing to play for in the last game, ontop of the fact that they were missing key players. As for the Cincy game, I believe everybody on here can agree that their record was better then they are. They didn't cover a single spread all season, and would score in the first half then go to sleep. Great defense for Cincy, but horrible offence.
Anyway you wanted facts here they are. Minny home wins consist of GB, Balt, Det, Chi, Sea, Cincy, NYG, & SF. Looking at those home wins, 3 I would consider big wins, and the rest c'mon. Seattle worst road team in the biz, Detroit is self explanitory, Chicago well they suck, SF I would hope a team as good as Minny beats them, and NYG in a game that they could care less about. Not saying Minny isn't good but their home wins aren't enough to substantiate a definite win this weekend.

Fair enough. You had some good counterpoints too. We will see who wins... I do hope it is a good game either way. BOL!

They won 13 straight games without a loss, what the hell you mean, I don't know what you see in them. How do these guys find this website
Just wondering why You would take Bees over Warner .
Is it the great playoff record Brees has?Or is the Warner takes team after team to the playoffs and wins. that you dont like? Fitgerald wishes he had a qb like Brees to throw to him? you got to be kidding .What has Brees done tell me.??
.So far all he did this year is play good for 3/4 of the season. When the pressure was on and the media made it a playoff atmosphere , he choked. ans he was at home with 70,000 fanss Brees has his time now to prove that hes not just a stat qb that he can get hold of a reeling team, that he has the leadership to take his team to at least the Championship game .He hasnt proved nothing yet. Until he does he shouldnt be compared to Warner

Saintsfan I think you get your rematch at home. I don't know what to expect that game. But it will be interesting to see how each team plays this week. It will tell alot about how the Conference Championship will go.

Thanks BM, great point. GB and Baltimore are the only good teams on that list, and if I remember correctly, the Baltimore game came down to the wire. Dallas's offense is much better than BMore's. GB was still finding themselves at the time. I'm going to smash even more money on Big D. Let's get'em good!

Yeah CIN really sucks. At the time they were one of the hotter teams in the NFL and playing real well on the road. Moreover they are a playoff team. I already did an analysis on another thread but here is a quick version. MIN is 3-0 against playoff teams with a winning margin of 10 points at home. DAL is 2-1 against playoff teams with a winning margin of 0.3 points on the road. BOL of luck on that because you are not playing a clueless PHI team this week at home.

Really! Is this a joke? So you are counting preseason wins to support your argument. WOW! Oh by the way lets look at this preseason game. This was without Brett Farve and when DAL scored the last 14 points in mop up duty. So what is your point in looking at a preseason game?
That is about as relevant as the last postseason game between DAL and MIN it was on Jan. 9, 2000 - NFC Wild Card - Minnesota 27, Cowboys 10 and do you think that score has any relevance to this game?
