Guys are the Vikings overrated at this point

I just looked at the quality of teams they have beatened and I am not impressed. They have not beat a team with a winning record this season. Favre will probably go down as one of the best in the league history, but who have they won against?

THERE THE REAL DEAL ONLY LOSS COMING AT PITT A GAME THAT COULDVE WENT EITHER WAY..THEY RUN THEY DEFEND AND THEY SCORE....S RICE STARTING TO LOOK LIKE HIS UNCLE

Ok, lets look at who they ran against and thrown against. They are the real deal when it comes to covering the points though, I made some cash with them this year.

Jim Mora, Jr. said MN was the most complete team they have played and they played Indy earlier this year BEFORE all the injuries and Arizona.

Will they make it to the SB?  Who knows.  But they are legit.  I like this team even better then the one from '98...their defense is SO much better and their special teams have improved HUGELY.

Still 6 games to go....lots can happen before the end of the season.  MN gets AZ and Cincy in a couple weeks.....wait and see. 

Ok, so you would have to say that the real test begins now? I looked at their schedule and it's been a cream puff thus far.

And St. Louis had a chance to throw a winning TD in the final seconds againts NO.  Every team is going to have some close games....hard to be NE of a couple years ago and blow everyone out. 

NO has played some decent teams (Philly, Giants, Jacksonville, and Atlanta), but those are .500ish teams....very similar to GB IMO who MN pretty much whipped twice.  They can only play who is on the schedule. 

MN also beat the piss out of the Ravens for over 3 quarters before they let them back in the game.

I'm not saying they beat NO, but they would be in the game no doubt in my mind.  NO is more explosive, but MN plays better defense IMO. 

 

Ok, they beat the Ravens by 2 they beat Cle, Lions twice, Seahawks, Pack twice and St lou and San Fran by 3. Is this worth all the fukn praise that they are getting?

Ok. you are going off of one team, who else besides the Packs that might make a wild card have they beat? "No one" this team will need to be tested, they are playing a lot of weak ass teams. They loss to the only real playoff team this year "PITT" am i lying, who cares what Jim Mora Jr says.

Minny has done every "good" team should do. They take care of business every week. They beat the teams they should beat. Yes Favre is still going strong. But what about Adrian Peterson. The guy is unstoppable. And that defense is pretty damm good as well. To answer the question. They are absolutley for real.

Vikings will make it to the NFC Championship...

The last I checked All Day has three games this seaon that he has gained over a 100 yds. Don't get me wrong I love the kid, but numbers never lie.

They're underrated IMO. Yes, they're blessed with soft schedule but they also taken advantage of them. I like the fact that when they play a creampuff team, they beat them down.

They're rank no.3 in most NFL power rankings but they should be rank at no.1 because they're the most complete team in the NFL.

2.Colts- could've easily have 2 losses if it wasn't for the INT that Flacco thew with 2:43 left in the game and the 4th and 2 decision made by the genius. The bottom line is that the Indianapolis Colts have won alot of close games and they've been fortunate to be on the good end. But "luck" will run out eventually.

1.Saints- You can say the same about the Saints also "having a creampuff schedule". week1 vs Detroit, week2 vs Philly without McNabb, week3 vs BUF, week8 vs ATL with a baged-up secondary, week10 vs STL barely escaped(won by 5pts.), week11 vs TB(impressive win but it's against the BUCS).

The real test starts in week12 against New England, if they can come out unscaved from week 12-15 they have a good shot of going undefeated but "i doubt that they go unscaved from week12-15" i'll be impress if they go 3-1 but i think they'll be 2-2 at best.

at the end of the day, a win is a win... because it's very hard to win.

Thems are fighting words.  Okay lets look at the schedule... MIN played DET twice and NO played them once.  MIN played STL once and so did NO.  MIN played other chumps such as CLE and SEA (even though I do think they are better than their record.  Whereas NO played chumps such as BUF (who I also think is better than their record), CAR (who I think is worst than their record) and TB.  MIN had quality wins against BAL and GB (twice).  NO had quality wins against PHI and NYG.  MIN should have beat PIT but that is another story.  These teams are very close.  MIN has a much more dominate defense that is just getting stronger and stronger each week and NO has a much more dominate offense that seems to be even more balanced each and every week.  I really do hope they play each other in the NFL Championship game (in the Metrodome of course) to find out.  BOL!

Come on now... I never thought I would hear a Vikings fan from my generation (I wasn't around for the Purple People Eaters) say that about the Vikings.  There was something magical about the Vikings in 1998.  Moss did what he said he was going to do and that is tear the NFL right the F up!  Seems like no third down was too long.  No FG was to far.  No lead was insurmountable.  MIN was on a magical ride all the way until Dennis Green F'ed it all up!

Same as NO schedule too if you believe MIN was a cream puff because they are basically the same.  Your real test comes up now too with NE next and then cream puff city the rest of the way.  If you ask me NO has a much easier schedule than MIN.

Doesnt matter football is football no matter who you play any team can win on any given day sad team or not........lets just say it will be

vikings vs. saints NFC championship

and btw the saints schedule was not easy to start but yes down the stretch its gets easier for them except for the game against new england........

On pace for 1600 yards and 17 TD's.  What more do you want? 

He's still averaging 5 yards a carry.....MN has SO many more weapons this year.....it's just being spread around and he has to take less of the work load.  Last year, their QB's had like 18 TD's all year.  They have 21 through 10 games this year.

I just like the balance of this team better then in '98. 

Maybe they didn't score mid 40's like they did in '98, but they are averaging over 30/game.....their low was 17 at Pitt. and then it's 27.  That's pretty consistent.

All this is just talk, though.  They will have to let it play out on the field. 

 

 

The Vikings are flying under the radar & not many are talking about them. That one loss did them good.

1 Vikes have gotten fat on cupcakes.   They've had one of the easiest schedules in the NFL

2 Vikes and Saints are roughly equal; one could make a case for either one to win the NFC championship  

3 It probably doesn't matter which one makes it to the SB, as the AFC team will likely win SB again this year

saintsfan is obviously not a great football mind.  Take a look at your team before you criticize the Vikings.  Like I said before be careful what you wish for by wanting to face the Vikings in the playoffs. 

Dude this schedule probably played a huge roll "besides playing GB twice" in his decision to come back. You guys have the softest schedule that i have seen in a long time. Nothing is wrong with my team, we loss 4 starters on defense and still went in Tampa and kicked ass. Say what you want, but Tampa is not an easy place to play in.

JUST ANSWER ME THIS...WHAT DO THEY LACK???
