@Robards
loll
it failed but...right decision.
Lol more contradictions with no substance.
Something as obvious as the end of this game and you still try to cry that it's not fixed.

Harbaugh:
""The numbers are the numbers, but the numbers aren't perfect," Harbaugh said. "I can tell you this; I've shot a lot of holes in the numbers with the numbers guys. They don't take everything into account, so you just make a decision. The numbers are part of it, but the numbers aren't the main decision."
"The more debatable decision was Harbaugh's decision not to go for 2 points after Baltimore had closed to 31-23 with 4:47 left in the game. If the Ravens had successfully made that 2-point conversion, they would have needed only an extra point at the end to win the game. If Baltimore had failed, it would still have had a shot to tie the game with a 2-point try at the end."

Not afraid to dish out the criticism on my own team lol
I get the reasoning behind it. The math says it's in their favor to go for 2(in general) but they also need to weigh the balance of their teams strength and weaknesses. Do Ravens have the personnel to execute a successful 2 pt conversion? Sure They do. they have been pretty decent in redzone offense this season so why are they struggling when it comes to 2 pt conversions?
It comes down to pressure, playcalling and execution. It's hard enough to score in the redzone as is and even harder when going for 2, essentially your team is trying to get in the endzone on back to back plays. The opposing defense buckles up after letting one in and With that comes a heighten sense of pressure. Ravens strike me as a team that hasn't been able to get it done under pressure from what I've seen in the last 5 years. Sure Lamar finally notched some comeback wins in his career beating Chiefs and Colts from behind but overall it's been a mix bag.
Now the playcalling.. It's too predictable. Everyone knows Lamar and Huntley's favorite target is Andrews. Almost ran the same play as that last 2 pt conversion vs Steelers but this time Huntley did a little rollout. Maybe they thought that was what they should've done last time but they had 2 guys on Andrews this time. He was hardly open.. Ravens should take a page out of Tannehill. Fake the handoff to the RB and let Huntley try to run it in or. Bootleg it or something.
Looking at further replay Huntley actually had a better shot at getting the ball to Marquise Brown in the back of the endzone. Don't know how he missed that. I think it was just nerves and inexperience. I believe if Lamar had played, he would've attempted a throw to Brown and not to Andrews. The execution on this 2 pt conversion was more terrible than the last one. Ravens had a better shot last time, they had no chance in this one.
This is something I am already going to have to get use to seeing and don't think this will be the end of it cuz Harbaugh can be one stubborn ass coach lol. If the players don't mind going along with it for health reasons or whatever then they gotta start executing it better and be a little more creative in the playcalling

Yea statement seems a little contradictory but seems like he isn't in it for overtime anymore lol. Maybe they know they suck in overtime. His OT record is kind of spotty lately too. I'll have to check the record again. There has to be some reason why he doesn't want his team to go to OT besides oh we don't have enough corners or we don't trust our defense enough and they have Aaron Rodgers so what's the point lol

If the season is on the line he then should kick XP next week. Must win game against Bengals can't afford to get too cute. If Bengals win they control their own destiny for AFC North title and Ravens will most likely need help for a wildcard spot. Their conference record looks terrible and could cost them in the tiebreakers. Path to playoffs for Ravens is to win division.
Ravens are 2-1 SU in overtime this season. Harbaugh is 10-10 SU overall. Not bad. Take your chances in OT John

I could see that happening. I think Huntley is doing a good job holding the fort. No need to rush Lamar back. Hopefully we get some of our other guys back. Gonna be a tough one in Cincy but plan to roll with Ravens again as dogs

Player and coach agreed on it. Collective decision. Not all on Harbaugh. Interesting behind the scenes stuff
