you either have not watched Romo play enough or you listen to the media too much. the same crap was said about Romo last offseason and then he brok every cowboy passing record in his FIRST full season as the starter. its amazing that even though he has all the cowboy records already (single season) in his first year, you guys think he can't get better. hell even if he stays the same he is the 3rd best QB in the NFL.
why does it amaze you that people think Romo is a really good Qb when he broke every dallas record in his FIRST full year as a starter?

This doesn't have ANYTHING to do with THIS SEASON!!!!!!!
Looking @ the 2 qbs in their first 2 yrs as starters in the playoffs.
Somewhat interesting.

These numbers may be a reason that EVERYBODY isn't on board w/Romo.
Bmor--------Based on these numbers/results, one could say that Romo is overhyped by the media. You posted on another thread that you want numbers/facts to back things up.
Again, these numbers don't have a bearing on this season. I just think some shouldn't be overzealous when predicting this kids future.

i honestly don't see you point. here are the numbers for McNabb's and Romo's first 2 playoff games.
McNabb: 44/71 62% 342 yards 3 TD's 2 INT's
Romo: 35/65 54% 390 yards 2 TD's 1 INT
not much of a difference except McNabb has a better % and Romo threw for more yards while Romo has 1 less TD and INT then McNabb. Romo's only INT came on 4th and Goal from the 23 yard line with 12 seconds to play in the game so really besides a pass he had to force, he has not thrown any INT's in his first 2 playoff games. If you watched the Giant playoff game last year you would know that Romo was hurt by dropped passes. Crayton dropped a huge 3rd down pass that changed the game cause dallas had to punt and the subsequent good return set up the go ahead TD. Also Anthony Fasano dropped a TD pass that went right threw his hands and hit him square in the chest. I am sure McNabb has some of the same bad things happen to him as well but with those stats, i still don't see how McNabb was better in his first 2 playoff games then Romo was. i know McNabb went 1-1 but dallas could have easily won both playoff games they lost (they outgained both the giants and seahawks and out gained the giants 360-240) and it was not Romo's fault that they lost both although i do agree he did not play up to his normal excellent level in each but both times the whole cowboy team hit a funk in december and was backing into the playoffs in 06 and was 1-2 down the stretch last year so the entire team has been playin gits worst football late in the season the past 2 years.
i really don't see how these numbers support the argument that McNabb is a better QB then Romo

i play the kid with the better record AND the better skills which is Tony Romo.
Romo's record as a starter 19-8 70%
McNabb's record as a starter 80-44 65%
these include the playoffs as well. like i said if Romo's defense held the opponent to 3 points like the eagles did in McNabb's first playoff win they would have the same exact record after 2 playoff starts (1-1)
finally i will leave you a quote from the famous bill parcells "stats are the biggest indication of future success"

Excellent point......I guess that's what happens when one single play gets screwed up (that very easily could've happened to anybody) and you're the starting QB for the most hated, most watched, most criticized football team in America.
Pretty stupid and ignorant to judge a QB on one fumbled snap on a FG attempt if you ask me.....

“This has always been our toughest road challenge because the fans are so passionate here,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. “To have a game like this was surprising.”
McNabb fumbled on the first play from scrimmage, and the Cowboys converted it into their first score, a 2-yard run by Julius Jones.
There were no mock funerals in the parking lot or derisive chants in the stands. Even the boos lacked venom.
Once the Cowboys went up by 14 late in the second quarter, Owens tried hard to incite the rowdies. He strutted along the sideline, flapping his arms and yelling at the crowd behind the bench.
But the disappointed Philly faithful were too angry at their own team to worry about Owens’ antics. So, they directed their boos at the Eagles as they ran off the field.
After Jason Witten caught a 20-yard TD pass to make it 35-10 in the third quarter, the stadium emptied. No one wanted to stay around and watch Owens celebrate anymore.
McNabb had a difficult game against a tenacious defense. He was harassed often and hammered into the ground a few times. The five-time Pro Bowl QB was 27-for-46 for 264 yards, one TD, two interceptions and he was sacked three times. (and one LOST fumble)
