How come the books didn't fix the Philly and New England games? They lost their a$$ on those 2 square plays.
I go to a certain casino I don't want to blow them up because everybody would go there if I did mention the name but........if you go to the window and pick eagles and patriots each week the teller will just tell you congratulations you picked the winning side and even give you a drink voucher

And for every square play that hit today there were just as many + more square plays that defied logic and had the dog cover or win outright. That's how vegas books and the league maximize their profits. If every favorite covered against every injury ridden team with Brett Hundleys as the starting QB, sportsbooks would be out of business in a matter of weeks

Vegas makes 2-3% of their profits from sportsbetting....they could careless about sporting events....they make more in 1 hrs off slot machines than a week of "fixed" sporting events

Come on on man , the biggest moneymaker for LV CASINOS FROM AUGUST TO FEBUARY IS THE SPORTSBOOK, especially NFL, SECONDLY ncaafb, they make their living off it. this was the last game of the night all the public favs had cashed and there was a world of money tied up in the Steelers with PARLAYS, TEASERS...THIS WAS THE BIG BAILOUT FOR THE SPORTSBOOKS, they had to determine the spread and the field goal was the perfect answer for them.
The biggest moneymaker in LV casinos will always be Slots. after that comes Video Poker. sports betting is very small potatoes by comparison for LV casinos. Parlays and teasers are profitable for LV casinos, but that's nothing when compared to the amount of slot machine losers that hit the casinos hourly.

I do believe in crooked refs, or refs making a game close for ratings. But not vegas having anything to do with it..
Vegas got crushed this week on Favorites covering. One game isn't going to make a difference in their pocket. Chiefs and Steelers are the only games they made out on got crushed on all the rest!!
Now as cappers we have to adjust.. look for some inflated lines on the favorites going forward... vegas has to adjust because they can't keep giving out these cupcake lines on these favorites. I'm hoping to be getting some juicy dogs in the last 4-5 weeks!!

Where are you pulling 70% of the games finishing within one score? Of the 170 plus games played this year so far. 95 have finished with two scores or more

I felt opposite. Didn't feel the Steelers should be -14. Yes Hundley kinda sucks but Green Bay still has some talent and aren't just gonna quit on the season. Getting 14 points for Green Bay was solid and the Packers played ok
