Hey Guys...Tim Tebow Still Sucks

As much as you see me talking down Tebow...not even I am stupid enough to bet against him and the Broncos' defense. But people need to start seeing things clearly. Bet against him in the first half. He's as bad as can possibly be in the first half of games. I took the under in the 1st half last week because of the 2 shitty offenses and it was 0-0. Now if you take the Patriots in the first half of this game at -5...that should be golden...right?

Line has almost corrected itself. Should have opened at -11.

Multiple teams in the past few years alone have done what the Packers have done.  It’s nothing new.

Tim Tebow is doing something never before seen in the history of the NFL.

Tebow is really good for the NFL.  He is bringing more national attention to the NFL than any other player, team, or story this season.

Also Tim Tebow is just flat out more interesting than the Packers right now.

That’s pretty much all they are saying NOW because Tebow has proven everything else they have said wrong.

A few weeks ago it was “he can’t win games as an NFL QB.”

Now those same people are claiming they’re only argument was “he can’t pass accurately.”

If Tebow becomes more accurate they will probably claim their original argument was “he can’t win 3 super bowls in a row.”

Actually he had 10 completions against the Raiders and a passer rating over 98.

But hey, don’t the facts get in the way of your seething hatred.

You suggested looking up Newton’s and Tebow’s stats to compare them.

Ok, I did.

Tebow has a higher passer rating with a TD:INT ratio bested only by Rodgers.

Newton has a lower passer rating, more interceptions than TDs, and a completion percentage about 10% higher to go along with a much better group of receivers.

I’m not really seeing how Newton is a god and Tebow is a “clown,” but please, by all means, continue your seething hatred of the kid.

He didn’t start a thread titled “Hey guys….Tim Tebow can’t pass well.”

He started a thread titled “Hey guys…Tim Tebow still sucks.”

A guy that was a 4th string QB a few months ago taking over a terrible 1-4 team that had thrown in the towel and having a 7-1 record does NOT suck.

Sparky was dead wrong, yet he refuses to man up and admit it (from what I've seen in this 49 page thread).

It’s going to be hilarious watching the haters try to spin it when the Broncos win the division and Tebow goes to the Pro Bowl.

But he DOES suck. How can you see him have 2 good drives a week and say that's good?

I guess it doesn't matter what I say. All I know is that, in time, he's going to come back down to earth.

There's a reason why he can drive down the field late in the 4th quarter with no problem. It's because all the defenses play prevent defense. If you weren't blind you would notice that the Bears didn't have any defenders within 10 yards of the reciever on any pass that he completed.

The only thing he has going for him is that he refuses to slide when he's running, which I like. But if he didn't have that ability...he would have been benched by now.

Look what happens to run first quarterbacks over their careers. They deal with tons of injuries. And Tebow is now running against the big boys. If he faced the Steelers...the fact that he doesn't slide would lead to another suspension by James Harrison because he would knock Tebow out of the game. And I'm sure it won't take to long before he becomes gun shy. Winning makes the pain go away a bit quicker. But when he starts losing (coming back down to earth), he'll start to break down.

All of you people saying that he's going to get better and just hoping.

As Jermichael Finley said...Rogers is breaking records every week. And he gets like 5 minutes a show.

And like Joe Flacco said...he doesn't hate the guy, but look what happens when the Broncos win. Every time you flip on ESPN, it's one small story, than Tebow, than another highlight, than a 10 minute story about Tebow. Then you finish the night off with Tebow's Top 10 plays followed up by an hour long Tebow special...as if he's been winning for years and is on track to being a Hall of Famer when he retires.

He's the "flavor of the month"...and it'll be over soon enough. Unless ESPN starts reporting about his losses too.

I have been on this site for over half a decade and I never seen someone that was so clearly wrong continue to dig themselves a deeper hole week after week like you have in this thread.

Tebow took over a terrible 1-4 team that had thrown in the towel and currently has a 7-1 record and will most likely lead his team to a division title.  He also has a TD:INT ratio bested only by Rodgers, has arguably been the most clutch 4th quarter QB in the NFL this season, and will be a Pro Bowler.

He clearly does not suck and to continue to claim that he does is just plain ignorant and shows an incredible amount of stubbornness and a complete inability to admit when you’re wrong.  

The Tebow story is simply more interesting than the Green Bay story.

Although it is pretty funny that Green Bay players are bitching and moaning with a cry of “look at me, look at me” because more people care about what Tebow is doing than what they are doing.  If they keep winning they will get plenty of attention.  Seems kind of silly to be bitching about that right now.

Also I think Flacco might be pissed that Tebow will be playing in the Pro Bowl and he won’t.  If he wants to make the Pro Bowl it might help to get a higher passer rating than the “fullback playing QB.”

I guess you haven’t been watching Denver’s games.

That’s a shame too because they have had some pretty entertaining finishes with Tebow.

It does say something that his best passing game came against a team who was so depleted in their secondary that they had special team guys filling in.

But why should I mention that? It's just another "excuse".

At least Flacco is more capable than Tebow is to advance his team into the playoffs.

I'm sure Flacco doesn't care about the pro bowl. We've learned that it's become a battle of the 3rd stringers since the stars play through the playoffs OR they say forget it. But I guess Tebow would fit right in as a true 3rd stringer.
