The most intriguing matchup to me is the Niners/Vikings. Ultimately what my decision was based on is the following.
1) 49ers have been through hell and back this season. That gauntlet of a schedule and playoff intensity games is nothing new to these guys. Went into the Lions den in Baltimore and played then to a draw (should’ve won). Went into New Orleans and won a shoot out. Played a playoff game in week 17 and grinded out a win. MY POINT is that these dudes will not be rattled. The Niners are battle tested and have played for this very moment on Saturday night. It will be electric.
2) Dline is back. Armstead, Buckner, Bosa and Ford. (ALL FINALLY RESTED) - Kirk Cousins will have one of his worst days as a professional QB.
That’s it. Those are my two angles. Playoff games are won in the trenches, almost always and a rejuvenated Niner D line will be the difference. Did I mention that the teams emotional leader on the field is back? Kwon Alexander.
Niners -6.5
Baltimore - 8.5
Close for a while but Ravens cover with late TD. This team is too explosive and once they have a lead, it will force the Titans to pass and Tannehill will F up. Great story, they ended the Pats dynasty and still would’ve lost if Edelman catches 1 pass. I’m not impressed by the Titans beating the corpse of Brady and the Pats.
