I will frequent both the NFL and NCAAF forums this season. More so NFL.
I have a goal in mind that my friends laugh at for this NFL season. By the end of the Super Bowl I plan on being plus 10,000 on the season.
I will start slow...1/2 unit (50) early weeks of the season. Full unit (100) a few weeks into it. Most plays will be for one unit. I will be playing anywhere between 4 and 10 games a week. Occasionally there will be plays I feel strongly about and I will double or triple the units on those games. If I happen to be running exceptionally well and I reach my goal before seasons' end, I will end there. Every play will be posted and I will do my best to keep track of the record.
I am aware that to alot of you here, 10,000 is not big bucks. To me it is so please no comments such as, "I make that in one week," or "10,000!? I piss that out every morning!" Should I reach my goal I will feel blessed. Good luck to all and here's to a great NFL season.

Hello, all.

The way to always get around this "bashing" of how much money is to just use units. Tell everyone what your scale is, i.e- normal bet 1 Unit, max is 10 Unit scale. Then tell what youre goal is of "units" to end the season w/

Watch out on that Saints game. In Nawlins, Saints won't have 20+ guys on IR as they did all last season, and a hugely upgraded defense facing off against a Detroit team with a new coach, players not used to his scheme in a real game, with match-up problems all over the ball.

Good luck buddy.

was just wondering what your starting bankroll is??
If it's not 10K and I doubt it is, I'm tipping you'll be betting 1/4 units by week 4.
And you'll be bust soon after
Pressure is the big deal, there will be times when you hit say 2 from 6 a couple of weeks in a row. How do you plan to manage this?
Or are you just starting with say $500 and will be adding to your bankroll as you go.
Please just let me know what your starting bankroll is.
Here is my staking plan, start with the biggest bankroll you can afford. This is for the entire season. Don't add to it or touch it. Bet 2% per pick and bet level stakes.
You say that you'll have 4 -10 picks per round, so average 7. by 16 rounds =142 picks. If you can get a strike rate of 70% or better you may double your bank.
You are only dreaming if you think you can turn say a grand into 10 grand. Anyway please let me know how your going to manage your bankroll.
I will watch with interest though, you could be a good fade FADE ONLY

Please just let me know what your starting bankroll is. ill be starting with about 3k and periodically adding to it if i can. i will post when/if i add to it.

If you can get a strike rate of 70% or better you may double your bank. 7 picks times 16 rounds is only 112. but after 17 regular season weeks and including playoffs, youre 142 number sounds about correct. hitting 60% would about double my starting roll. in all honesty, ill be happy to hit around 60% and double what i started with. ive yet to decide whether or not to get risky towards the seasons' end should my goal be in reach.
i do plan on adding to what i start with throughout the season. again, my goal is to be +10,000, not +7,000 (70% w/3k starting roll). you may see it as unrealistic (which it may be), but with a bit of luck, i can see myself getting close.

Good luck picking 60% winners in the NFL. If you're starting with 3k and hope to more than triple it by season's end, you'd need to hit far better than 60%.

Massive Saints supporter here. Detroit will not cover that spread as long as there aren't any major injuries to the Saints (cross fingers) before Week One. See my post in the Official Game thread as to why.
