Outside of Defensive line vs Offensive line and one team was expected to be here.
QB vs QB Give me Burrow all day...as long as the bengals don't blitz I expect Stafford to make the mistakes trying to do to much.
RB vs RB. Give me Mixon Akers is unproven and fumbles the ball to much for me.
WR vs WR What do Rams have at WR that Cincy doesn't?? Cincy got guys that get open they got big guys, but do the Rams have a speed guy like Chase? he might be a better Tyrek Hill.
D vs D Rams D line has 2 maybe 3 HOF guys and might win them the SB, but outside of that Cincy D held KC to 6 points in over 4 qtrs of 2h football in January.... if the Bills could have gotten one stop maybe we be talking about them.
I know the saying "Defense wins Championships" and Rams d Might deliver here, I will have Donald as MVP either way ( had Miller in Sb50). but either way I don't see a blow out and if Rams get up big they will probably choice it away like they did against SF (week 18) and Bucs in playoffs.
Taking Bengals +4.5, ML small, and hedging with Very sml Donald MVP

I see the Bengals running Mixon straight at Donald and Miller...that will cool off their desire to be in such a hurry to sack Burrow. Also Burrow might be scrambling like he did last week against the Chiefs.
Bengals' D only gave up one more point per game on average during the regular season than the Rams. I just eyeballed both teams' schedules last year and I claim that the Bengals had the tougher one regardless of what the official SOS states. Like the pick with the points...

Rams- Better D and O Line. For that reason give me the better protected QB which is Stafford.
Rams- WRs are a close matchup but I would have to lean to the team with Cupp as he has proven to be an unstoppable force. Jamar Chase has been held to less than explosive numbers through most of the playoffs so far.
Rams- RBs I will agree that this is an even matchup although IMO Cam Akers is getting better every week and has a nice YPC average. You don't often see him get stuffed for a loss or a 1 yard gain. Bengals running backs on the other hand often have carries for a yard or less particularly bc of the poor play calling in certain situations like in the KC game. They ran multiple times up the middle for almost no gain. Again to credit the Rams D line it's very hard to give the advantage here to the Bengals.
Rams- Defense all around. Cincy made the right adjustments at half to come back and beat KC. That being said KC made tons of mistakes in the second half making Cincy look like they were playing better than they actually were. Considering the points/yardage they have up in the first half of that game I would say they were exposed badly. Stafford and co should gash Cincy through the air just like KC did for the first half.
Rams- Experience. This one to me is pretty obvious. Stafford is an NFL veteran along with a defensive group that has a ton of playoff experience at this point. The Bengals are a younger team with way more inexperienced players on both sides of the ball.
Bengals get the advantage at the kicker position and that's all I can give them.
Just my two cents. GL with your play

Outside of Defensive line vs Offensive line Is there anything more important than this when handicapping NFL?
Absolutely nothing at the pro level, and most college games for that matter. In the NCAA, transcendent players/units can outweigh the lines, and every blue moon a transcendent QB outweighs the lines at the NFL level. Seattle had dog poo O-lines for some of their good years under Wilson but for the most part, the lines are what matter most in a football game.

And then when Rams lose, all youll have is some dumb cliche.
That's the way the ball bounces. They didn't want it bad enough.
The Rams had the Fearsome foursome and got absolutely no where.

No they dont...do the math and cap the game, then you will have a more educated guess than the BS you been spewing all season. I proved your theories wrong plenty of times. Bengals will win it all. Good day

ie you don't have an answer. But wait, you just said Bengals win it all ? Then you are going against all logical capping.
I just showed how your educated guessed are useless. You haven't proven me wrong one single time.
Yeah, look at Mahomes in the second half vs Bengals again. Look at Rams vs Saints in 2018.
The nfl.decides.

I agree with Lancer, Bengals are going to come out and run the ball. While pass protection isn't their O-lines strength, their run blocking has been good. Mixon was the 3rd leading rusher in the league with over 1200 yds, 4.1 ypc, 13 TDs. At 220 pounds, he's tough to bring down too, he runs "downhill." He also caught 42 passes out of the backfield so his importance as a check down against the Rams pass rush will be amplified. 2 weeks to prepare is important, for both teams, this is where coaching comes into play. Much respect to the Rams defense but overall, they were statistically middle of the pack in the league. We're not talking about some of the great defenses we've seen in the past, they may even be a tad overrated IMO. Inevitably who wins upfront and who wins the almighty Turnover battle wins the game.

Hey Wizer. I have mad respect for you and everything you have contributed to the forum over the years. Anything in particularly that you like about the Bengals when capping this game?

Why would I need an excuse for a Rams loss? The Bengals are a good team capable of beating anyone. I know in your fairytale fantasy world there are NFL teams that are world's better than other teams, and that said teams only lose because it's scripted for them to lose but people who actually know football know that the drop distance between best and worst is extremely narrow. There are no Alabama vs. UTEP match-ups in the NFL. That fact is some clichés are dead nuts accurate, and on any given Sunday (or Monday, Thursday, or Saturday) any NFL team can beat any other.

exactly.....LA's Defense is going to be the deciding factor. Burrows is a great story, and he's incredible... but Aaron is HUNGRY...and if you double him...meet Mr. Miller. We'll see

You just contradicted yourself. You can't have it both ways. Either you think the team is superior, therefore wins, or you don't.
You can't say a team is superior to another and then say the drop is narrow. More nonsense pseudo logic for the common Al Bundy.
Everything you do, say and think is hypocritical. You say it's better to go against public most times and yet public seems to go by media influence. If you think media is wrong...then wouldn't that mean they are lying? If they are lying, what makes you think anything they connect themselves to ,or allowed to cover, is true?
Lol at using "Any given Sunday. Dumbest sheep comment of the decade. That phrase was invented to influence you to buy any outcome the nfl decides on.
When a intelligent person watches Mahomes run in circles backwards, at first and goal, in his home stadium, like a helpless 12 year old girl,... Any smart person knows it's a lie.
Cliches are just cliches. You use them as facts, reasons and truths, explanations. To believe your staged Entertainment.

You also said there was no way no how the 49ers were losing. I think you posted like 1 million times that the 49ers were going to get to 76 wins. I will def be going Rams all day now lol. Sorry chic you just aren't a handicapper lol

I hope I'm riding on your side the right side. I got Rams to win by double digits. I'm confident Don Juan will have Rams also. Bengals have most bets qnd the handle right now and the line is still moving up which should not be. Rams in a blowout

Rams gave up 50 yards rushing to 9ers who ranked 7th in rushing yards gained.
Rams gave up 61 yards to Zona who ranked 10th and Rams gave up 51 yards to Bucs who ranked 26.
Bengals rank 23rd, how will they do better with Mixon ?
Bengals defense gave up over 100 yards rushing to every opp in playoffs and we're weaker in QB passer rating and weaker in ave per pass giving up 8.5 yards per pass to Titans who ranked like 24th in the league.
Rams gave up 7.7 yards to Jimmy G who ranked 1st in the league with sacks included.
Titans defense sacked opponents 6.4% of pass plays but KC only sacked opps 4.8% of pass plays.
Rams are much better then KC and better then Titans sacking opps 7.4%
This will be the best defense Bengals faced in postseason.
