Nobody is saying anyone has to tip. The reason to tip is being nice. I will tip up to 1 percent of the transaction when I feel like it.
When I was young, I worked a job where I sometimes got a tip but almost never got one. It makes your day to get thrown a few bucks when you aren't expecting it.
I also tip when I pick up a takeout order which most people don't do.

If winning over 1k then any collected bills smaller than a $20 (or a $20 if the small bills are less then $10). Otherwise anything less then 1k you should leave the smaller bills. Just like saving the $1 chips from a black jack for the servers or play for the dealer. While rather small, it all adds up for the service industry.

Dudes, to anyone saying you should tip, you are missing something important. She is not a dealer, who earn a shit salary for a very tough job, because they are expected to be tipped. That lady is a cashier, who gets paid accordingly, and whose only job is to see the ticket that you had bet on, verify its authenticity and then give you your money. She deserves no tip, just as your bank executive deserves no tip, nor the hotel receptionist.
I will tip a waiter, a bartender, a dealer; when the service that they give me is great. But not a cashier.

These parlay card runners out here think it’s ok to pull 10% of your earnings without consent. I told the guy if you feel that’s ok you should print it on the card so the players know before hand so they can choose to play or go elsewhere. It’s still not legal out here in Northern California.

I have worked at a decent book for a couple years. If you can make 1% of your payouts- great day. Usually it's closer to .05%. The more is know a guy- the odds improve. But many (most) don't tip. I see both sides of it- whatever.
