To say the eagles are looking ahead to bigger games  and it will affect this game ,imho is wrong    Maybe going out for a big lead and THEN rest some guys is the way they'll go

I don't really post up on the boards as much as I follow them but PTB your info. has been very valuable to me and wanted to give your MUCH deserved props!

FYI Hit BIG on your Jags pick that was also on my 4 team round robin that all came through! I have pictures of one of the round robin ticket!

Eagles cover with ease....also they came off a bye week and beat the Giants not losing to the bears!!!....if they couldve made tackles and scored at the end of first half game wouldve been different!!!

What insight are you looking for? I dont have to explain why & how I pick my games. You either follow or fade, its a simple concept to do   & when did anyone ever say that anyone taking the Texans was a "sharp" pick as you boldly stated. You like the Eagles & I like the Texans & I like it alot, hence the HUGE play. This isnt a handicapping contest......is it?

Im playing both sides of the Eagles/Texans game in the teasers because I see the Eagles winning but not covering. Really like both teasers alot!

I didn't say the Texans were a sharp play.  I said "when all else fails take the points" is a sharp play.  I don't have any idea what your record is or how you usually do.  I'm not looking for your insight nor am I looking to fade or follow you specifically.  I was just providing a contrarian point of view and I could feel the sarcasm of your response jumping off of my screen. 

I sometimes make plays on dogs that I feel will cover but not win.  But never a "huge play".  That is what I disagree with....not your side...but your reasoning on a "huge play".  This is a forum...not a tout service.  I'm allowed to disagree.

CINCY in 2000  - 10.5 won by 9  vs vs Chagers 2005 - 3.5 won by 3  Colts this year  - 3.5 won by 2

team of afc they cover would be a really bad team like browns were cople years ago playing 3rd and second string

only team they COVER against in AFC is steelers

Pitts hasnt won in Philly since 65 !

THIS is one of the harder ones for me....

Last year won big alot of texans and  looks like they are back to the under the rader team again right now.. able to put up big points and beat any team out there.

 

Eagles have been a fav team of mine and have won me money except for last week game im still upset about.   also have mccoy and vick on my fantasy team..and Andre Johnson . to prevent stress maybe just play the over or not play at all and watch my players dominate

No hate here I appreciate the thought out response but I guess I'm just curious as to whether a 2000 and 2005 game mean anything in this context. They were totally different teams playing totally different teams. I guess this isn't aimed at you specifically but I always wonder when I see people posting past results from 5+ years if that means anything at all.

Dawniewags, your post has no merit.  The Eagles smoked Houston in 02 and 06.  Covering the line in both games.  God help you if thats your reasoning prior to laying down real money.
