Question

All I can say is that I was blinded by my lifelong dedication to my home-town Carolina Panthers. I was in attendance for both Panther playoff games at BOFA stadium and I was blind to the lethal capabilities of this Denver D.

We got our butts kicked. Pure and simple.

I was not a fan of the way the whistles went (Dribble can insert his told you so here) and it seemed that we couldn't catch a break or a bounce.

However, when the chips are there for the taking as they were with 4:00 left and the game still winnable, you have to make a play. You can't back off your last gasp attempt to recover a fumble. I have no idea what Cam did there. He will not sleep for a month.

In the end, Denver's D ruled supreme. I was blind.

Classy post sir. You gotta takes the good and the bad. I won&#x27;t forget my Broncos getting wrecked by Seattle two years ago but this victory made it a little better today. I think Cam has talent for sure. No guarantee they get back just like every other team. Tough game tonight. Here&#x27;s to next year and see what happens. And this talk here and there it&#x27;s just great to see this is why they play the game.

I would think that the Panthers have a good shot at getting back to the SB in the next 3 years. Atlanta is a mess defensively and New Orleans is worse (on D) and has to deal with getting a new QB in a year or two. Tampa could challenge, but the Panthers look like a lock to get back to the playoffs on a consistent basis.

Maybe Cam will give up his body next time he fumbles in the big game. He will never live down not going for that ball until he wins the big one.

Class act!Your Panthers need to adress a few positions like LT, RT and CB, especially if Norman leaves. Alshon Jeffery would be a key for this offense to stretch opposing defenses.

Hopefully you didn&#x27;t unload a huge chunk of bankroll on this.Cam not going for the fumble...really...WTF?  This is gonna stand out to me for a long time...Why?  makes absolutely no sense...my conspiracy theorist side leans towards he knew he had to throw the game...I mean, he made the initial auto reaction to go for it...then pulled back like he "remembered" he isn&#x27;t supposed to get it/win.  Any athlete trying to win will dive for that ball as an auto reaction.  Makes no sense....But I digress...Your Panther&#x27;s will be back...I don&#x27;t think next year, but the following year maybe....CAM is one of the future faces of the NFL...He&#x27;ll get his in due time...after Ben and Aaron get theirs again.

I was also on Carolina (had 2 bets with them at -3 at halftime and -5.5 for the game) both of which obviously lost.  I had made those bets somewhat early on, and am grateful to some of you very vocal and active denver backers because I hedged my bets with a teaser of DEN&#x2B;13.5 and U52 which hit and kept me from too much in the loss column.  I was betting based on the strength of Carolina&#x27;s defense and the Denver weakness on offense which played out pretty much as expected. What I didn&#x27;t expect was how dominant Denver&#x27;s defense would be.  They had faced something like 7 QB designed runs all year and barely any QB scrambling so I mistakenly thought they might struggle.  Shows what I know.    Congrats to Denver backers
