 Listen man, we have all been there. I had one of those weeks last week where I was so angry by some horrible beats up through Saturday that I went extra large on Sunday and we all know what kind of a blood bath that was with all of the dogs covering. The best gamblers know how to bankroll their money. They are patient. They pick their spots and don't play every bet on the board. They build their money rather than try for a quick jackpot. There is a reason why Vegas and bookies are in this business. It's because it is lucrative for them. It is lucrative because of degenerates like us that love the adrenalin rush right up until we have to go to the bank on Tuesday to pay our loses. Do yourself a favor. Go spend some quality time with your wife and your kids. Sports will always be there. Take a few weeks off and then if you want to make a play here and there, do it within your means. Don't be stupid and play with money you can't afford to lose. $2,000 is a big bet for most. Know your limits. It's okay to play small. Maybe not as rewarding, but the less pain should you lose. You need to learn to be patient and pick your spots...don’t be a degenerate and fire 3 plays on thanksgiving day ffs...the odds alone betting way to much you might as well play craps at the table...I played Patriots ML against the ravens for 500 to win 1300 then played 300 on Tulane and cowboys teaser when they played the Vikings Last week at +13.5 And that was it for the week! I just watched the rest of all these games during thanksgiving to relax and enjoy the day. My next play will most likely be something this week that looks like a good spot to hit with a bankroll from last two games...firat step is to quit the degenerate habit. Can’t stress enough how important it is to be patient and realize there’s gonna be better spots to play next week or even the following week. But these people need action on games playing full and half games with over and unders holy shit a bookies dream!

You made the right decision to quit sports gambling.  But why only for a while?  Just quit gambling for good.  Your time spent on what you regard handicapping and physical wear and tear thinking about teams and actually watching can be spent on many other better things.  You are only helping the big, bad NFL and other big, corrupt sports and gambling complex at your and your family's expense.  I think referees are also knowing participants in this corrupt system.  Everyone should quit gambling on sports and let sports survive on their own.  You will see sports teams scale down their payroll because they won't have enough lemmings watching their staged shows any more.  Professional sports have become a big disease by being too lucrative and extravagant.  Let's all do our part by not gambling on them and not even watching their staged acts.

9th Phase: suicide...I lived in Las Vegas for 13 years and it is more common than you think. One guy hung himself with a rope in his garage. Gambling also ruins tons of marriages and families...so easy to control the outcomes of NFL games with a ref's call here or a call there or a ref's noncall here or there...just to facilitate a big win for gambling czars and no, not all of these games are bet with even action on both sides...that is a myth.

Books know from which direction the money is coming in most cases and sometimes they take a stand and with a little help from their friends the refs, any outcome is possible...

I have learned if gambling to make money (like you bets), its less painful to skip watching the games.  If a few bucks to make horrible games fun, it hurts but is bearable.

So now I just don't even watch and scroll on espn to see the Oregon State came back to win.
