Everyone knows what the line is whether they want to know or don't. That was a big FU to the 9er backers and a little love for the Rams backers.
Why else do it? Game is over. Years ago, they would've ran a bs running play to end the game. In 2023 gambling in all out in the open.
No need to call it a fix, it's a FU. I didn't bet the game.

He did it because SHanahan owns him and has beaten him 9 times in a row in the regular season and this made the score look closer
McVay does not give two shits what happens to Niner backers, or Rams backers, or any backers whatsoever
He wanted the final score to look closer and he accomplished that
The final score ended up being a 1 score game, instead of a 2 score game
