Needs to change that both teams should get the ball at least once.
@Biscuit
You're in the minority dude. Most people think both teams should possess the ball at least once, certainly in the playoffs. There will be a rule change, you'll see

Rule needs to change with how the offense is in today’s game vs back then.
how does NFL not realized that by now?
Whoever gets the ball first in OT , most likely to win

I think NFL is so physical asking them to play another 15 might be too much. Then what if it's still tied ? Another 15 ?
We could say give both teams the ball once but the team getting the ball second gets a pretty massive advantage knowing what they need and having 4 downs to get it.
I agree it isn't really fair but what OT setup would be fair ?

Or someone could play some defense? They should have squibbed the kickoff….would have been 7 or 6 seconds left. They should not have rushed 4. Rush 2 drop 9 into coverage. Poor coaching cost them the game….and horrible defense

that helps make my point
if a team is so bad they can’t stop the opponent on their own 25 with 13 seconds left….and then let their opponent drive 75 yards on them….maybe they’re not good enough to win the game
not saying Bills are BAD overall…….but they were, when it mattered most

In 2019 the Kansas Chiefs proposed a rule change to the overtime rules. Each team would get the ball atleast once in overtime. The rule change was voted down.
