Haters Galore...this whole forum is full of Niner haters plain and simple. Meanwhile, I'd like to dispel some ridiculousness ive been reading on these SF/Carolina threads.
First of all, I'd take Kap any day over Cam. Kap is the fastest QB in the league by far. He's played in 4 playoff games and EXCELLED in each, his only loss in SB on a missed pass interference. I know it's a team game, but he's also beaten Brees at New Orleans, Brady in New England, Ryan in Atl, and Rodgers at GB, to name a few. He carried the Niners all the way to the Super Bowl last year and I remember every game since he took over on Monday Night against the Bears, all i heard on this forum was Kap sucks, he can't do _____. And to say he had a bad game against GB? Or to say he only did it because their D is weak? You try throw a football in -10* weather barehanded, which he did amazingly well.
Another thing, anyone who says Crabtree sucks is out of their mind. He opens up their whole offense and is easily one of the top receivers in the league. What did he have last game, in their biggest game of the season? Something like 8 grabs for 124? With clutch catch after clutch catch...
Also, anyone basing picks week to week off of home/away/underdog/favorite trends from prior weeks is a f-n idiot.
Yes the Niners were without a lot of players, and yes some were lost in-game, and yes injuries are a part of the game. But the fact is they did not have those players for most of the game, which makes a huge difference wether you like it or not. So having those players for this game gives them a big advantage they did not have in their 1 point loss to Carolina earlier, which again the refs made some bad calls, but it happens and a loss is a loss.
It's extremely tough to beat a Super Bowl caliber team twice in the same season. Yes Carolina has a good team, they've been underrated since last season. But they aren't on the level of a very hungry and experienced San Francisco 49er team that have made deep runs in the playoffs the last 2 years.
Carolina's D is really good, but we know San Francisco's D is better. 4 All-Pro linebackers can you say more?
Kap, Boldin, Crabtree, Davis, Gore, and best O-line in football. Or Cam, Deangelo, hobbling Steve Smith, Ginn, Olsen. You tell me which offense you'd rather have lol.
But go ahead, fade the Niners like you have been for the last 3 years. They've only gone 36-11-1 over that time, but according to some posters on here i guess they still suck.
