I know, it's the Chiefs. How many times do we have to be burned by these mediocre bums (coaches and players) before we learn our lesson? But here is some food for thought:
This game is sandwiched in between two monster games for the Pack and Rodgers. First they had to play the Seahawks, in a rematch of last year's gut wrenching loss. They won the game, which was close until the very end, which sets up a bit of letdown spot for this week (as they play a team outside their conference).
But not only are the Packers in a letdown spot, they are also in a lookahead spot. Yes, the Niners are not what they once were, but revenge is a dish best served cold. The Niners have beaten the Packers the last three times, twice in the playoffs, in memorable games, where Kap (overall) outplayed Rodgers. And as we saw against the Hawks, both this past week and last year's NFC championship game (which GB should have won), Rodgers takes revenge very seriously. Additionally, the Niners passed Rodgers up in the draft to take Alex Smith, which Rodgers has never forgotten. Although he and Smith have a friendly rivalry, I think he will overlook him now that he is in a Chief's uniform.
Finally, we know how teams fare the week after playing the Seahawks. Not very good. The Packers are physically banged up and emotionally spent. And, frankly, they did not look that good against the Seahawks. If it wasn't for a couple of offside penalties which Rodgers took full advantage of, and a late fumble, the Hawks win that game. I think KC will have success running the ball, which will open up the passing game. KC is also rested (they will have had over 10 days off, which is almost a bye week and Reid's teams have an excellent record when it comes to that), healthy and still stewing over that loss to the Broncos (a game they gave away). That's why I think they shock the Packers on Monday night.

Of course, you might want to wait until Monday (for better odds), when all those who lost on Sunday start chasing by betting the Packers.
