Can't see myself picking a side in this game. Under 41 could be interesting. Don't really see these teams moving the ball all that well against each other. Gotta see more on the injuries in the next 2 weeks.

Miami cut Richard Marshall today, which makes me very happy.
I like Marshall, and he is a decent NFL cornerback, but this shows to me Miami's coaching staff is happy with the progression the young corners are making.
Miami's secondary is playing very, very well with the rookie Will Davis playing above relatively high expectations.
This move puzzles me. Let's be honest Will Davis is going to get abused on Sundays. He is no where near being a serviceable db in the league. Apparently him and Taylor are battling it out for the 3 corner spot and it looks Nolan Carroll is going to serve as cb 2. This is frightening. Dion Jordan needs to hurry and get healthy.

A sampling of opposing QBs that the weak Miami secondary has to contend with this season:
Luck Brady (2x) Brees Roethlisberger Flacco Ryan
What happens if Miami loses in Cleveland in week 1? Do they go into their bye at 0-5? Then what if EJ Manuel is the real deal? Then up to Foxboro for a beatdown. What then? 0-7? What if Geno Smith wins a game or two? Can the Dolphins go winless in the AFC East?
I said if they go 2-3 at their bye they have a very legit shot at the playoffs. Looks pretty good.
They have yet to put together a game where they play well on offense and defense. Very dangerous team

the fish and there D look good.. brutal scedule but a 2-0 start with 8 home games left looks good... Although, they have zero home field advantage besides the warm climate because there fans are pathetic.

The thing I love about this team is even though they are 2-0, they are not satisfied at all.
Also, to the guy criticizing Joe Philbin, the Dolphins had ZERO penalties against the Colts.
I think it will be a very hard fought game vs the Falcons next week. It will come down to the final drive. The old Miami Dolphins would blow it, but who knows with this team. They might just get it done next week

Injuries are beginning to add up for the Fins. Wake, Solai, Patterson, and Misi are all banged up and most likely out for Monday night.
Wake is the best player on the defense. Solai is hands down the best run stopper on the team (which is why Rodgers and Snelling had big games,) Patterson is the #2 corner, and Misi is good but I'm not a huge fan. Miami won last week with all 4 of these guys out. (Wake played a series or two, nothing much) They held the Falcons very much in check in the 2nd half, but had very piss poor tackling in the 1st.
I've been looking forward to this game for quite sometime. Since the beginning I have been talking about how much they want respect as a team. Even after a 3-0 start, and beating TWO playoff teams, they aren't getting it. This is the perfect time to earn some.
I expect this to be a close game, but this one I would lean to a higher scoring game. If these 4 guys are out for the Fins defense will have some trouble with the Saints offense (who doesn't) and that will in-turn cause Tannehill to throw 35-40 times. This one might turn into a shootout.
Another thing to keep an eye on is Miami's second half defense, and 2nd half team in general. They have only allowed 3 FGs, and a 12 yard TD drive in the 2nd half of their 3 games. Bottom line, take the 3-0 start, the fact Miami has 2 penalties for 13 yards in the last 2 games, and their 2nd half dominance as pretty telling to how good a coach Joe Philbin is. (someone in the this thread was criticizing Philbin I remember)
Miami is no fluke people, I've been knocking you over the head with this information for months, hoping I saved you $. I think this game will be exciting, close, and high scoring. Go Fins!

Might be time to load up on the boys again. Haven't seen the line yet, but unless its over a td Miami is the play.
I saw the line as 8, if Thad Lewis plays which it is likely he will, the line will prolly be around 7 or 7.5 by kickoff.
This is a really good spot for Miami, and if Patterson plays Miami might win this game 31-10.
I strongly, strongly, strongly advise that any, and everyone stay away from the Buffalo Bills this week.
Having trouble predicting Miami's W/L game by game because all of their games are tough hard-nosed games. I did have them a 3-2 at the bye, so I got that goin for me. Go fins!

Earth, I'm thinking about taking Miami as my survivor pick. What's the chances do you think the bills win this game?
I'd say if this exact game was played 100 times, all situations being the same as they will be sunday, I'd give the Bills a 25% chance to win this game.
Buffalo will be able to accomplish nothing on the ground, and like I said if Dimitri Patterson plays (he is Miamis #2 corner, who had 2 ints week 1, and hasn't played since) He practiced monday and tuesday, I just cannot see the Bills doing anything on offense.
All Miami's O-line has to do is not play horrible and the Fins will win. Tannehill had absolutely no time last game, and he still threw for 307 yards and a TD.

Ok. I was thinking 7 or 7.5. I might post some more thoughts when i'm not so tired. Last season Miami played well coming off their bye winning 30-9 in Jersey. LY spiller ran for over 220 yards and Buf only managed 24 total points in the 2 meetings. There offense is still painfully conservative. Coyle with 2 weeks to prepare against most likely qb making his second the def should give him fits. Some concerns withe ol-dl matchup. Outside of Pouncy everyone needs to be replaced. Clabo and Martin are often getting beat so bad that the blocking back can't even get a hand on the pass rusher. Curious to see if off the bye Sherman inserts an extra tackle in pass pro. They gotta do something. 24 sacks Tannehill is going end up in a wheel chair.

Damn 9'. My thoughts are Miami wins by double digits as long as the oline holds up. Thad Lewis is going to get eaten alive. Dolphins should double Mario Williams and make Dareus and Kyle Williams beat them. Not that they can't but you pick your poison.
Ellerbee is expected to play. Having to bear through Jason Trusnick staring would have been awful. Still the Bills do not get to 20 points. Here comes the deer in the headlight stares from a qb who is about to be in over his head. Miami will be pressure him with zone coverage on the back end. The tape is now there and the element of suprise is gone. If Spiller and Jackson don't get their's then this off doesnt stand a chance. Cam Wake will also be back this week. For my money he is the best pass rusher in the league. Coming off the bye I hold hope that this is the week we see more of Dion Jordan coming off the edge on 3rds. No more Misi pass rushing.
This Bills have been in every game this season, including games against the Pats, Bengals, and Ravens which makes the line a little suprising. For the most part the Bills offense didnt look that good last week. Outside of a deep pass early in the game and then the 40 yd td to Goodwin. Suprisingly Cinci did really attempt many outright blitzes. The Bills implemented a lot of plays to take advantage of Lewis's ability to run. With his foot injury this should be severly hindered. I like Woods quite a bit, but as suspect as Miami's secondary has been the Bills receiver aren't very good. DB Patterson sucks but week 7 will be the return of Mia's 2nd best cb. The advantage the Bills will have is the CJ Spiller finding vacant field. Miami is coming up the middle and its on the coaches and Lewis to take advantage of this. They did pretty job of keeping 3rd downs manageable last week and will need to do so again.

well said. In my opinion, aslong as Solai is in, noone will be able to run on the Dolphins.

I've have alittle trouble picking the W/L at the beginning of the season, but a lot of things have changed since week 1 until now.
After Miami wins tonight, they will be 5-4 and thats what I had them projected through 9 games.
I just cannot believe how many people I see guessing tonights game...I mean capping tonights game based on all the stuff that is going on in the Dolphins locker room.
I'll try to make this as simple as I can.
JONATHON MARTIN AND RICHIE INCOGNITO ARE FRIENDS, THEY ARE STILL FRIENDS.
THERE ARE TEXT MESSAGES BETWEEN THE TWO MEN AFTER MARTIN LEFT THE TEAM, IN WHICH MARTIN SAYS HE DOES NOT BLAME INCOGNITO OR ANYONE, IT IS A PERSONAL SITUATION.
...OH, IF THATS NOT ENOUGH, TANNEHILL, HARTLINE, MCKINNE, CLABO, AND WAKE ARE SOME OF THE PLAYERS WHO CAME OUT AND SAID INCOGNITO AND MARTIN ARE FRIENDS.
Is that clear enough, or do you still believe every single thing you see on ESPN?
