He is not even the greatest Raven of all time. Ed Reed, Ray Lewis and Jonathan Ogden were better than Lamar.
To state he is the greatest athlete of all time is not true. Boxing is agreed upon to be the hardest, toughest sport. Although the greatest all-around athlete may have been Bruce Jenner.
Also, if you are just talking Quarterbacks, I think most would agree. Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, and Sammy Baugh were all better decision makers with the ball.
I left out the obvious choices as they have already been mentioned.

Exactly ONE playoff win in 6 seasons. Very good, but nowhere close to the greatest. Once his legs start to slow down, he'll merely be slightly above average.
6 seasons? Lmao the playoffs hasn’t started bozo.
he has been to the playoffs 3 times (due to injuries) and has more wins than Peyton Manning did in his first 3 years in the playoffs. I am sorry, that is fact. Keep trying to write his story clown. You idiots crack me up. Blind mice.

Y’all said he wasn’t an MVP….then some quarterbacky bitch got all ignorant this week….which I am sure Lamar heard. Here’s 5 passing Tds and a perfect passer rating for your racist quarterbacky ass. Dumb bitch tryna talk sports lmao. Lamar is teaching cowards lessons and making them eat crow on a weekly basis.
He is the greatest football player of all time. I love it because the racists will never admit it even if he wins 10 superbowls and 10 MVPs it doesn’t matter.
And btw…. I’ve never seen a runningback throw 5 TDs before, have you?

I've never been a jersey wearing kind of guy but I bought my first nfl jersey, a Lamar Jackson jersey with my Lamar MVP winnings that year. He has my respect because he has been dogged on for his playing style and overlooked throughout his career. He's never had anything bad to say about anybody doesn't stir up drama just focuses on improving himself
In my opinion, he's the most electrifying athlete and elusive football player since Barry Sanders but for the QB position. I loved watching Barry Sanders growing up as a kid. I know he gets the Vick comparisons all the time but I think Lamar has evolved from that. He is his own dude, now he just gotta go out and own it and silence the critics.
When Lamar says he still feels like an underdog despite the press egging him on now with high praises and MVP chants from beating Niners and Dolphins and having the #1 seed it's because of all the things he had to endure throughout his playing career. He knows the press is merciless. the jobs not finished he has to win playoff games to further his career. Getting to the Super Bowl has always been his ultimate goal.
Reposting from another thread feels like it applies here too. Still young in his career to make judgment but I think he deserves to win a ring. Getting to a Super Bowl would be an accomplishment of its own, not many can get there. Win or lose, I hope he gets the chance to play in one. Winning one is good enough to cement one's legacy as a great football player anything else is just a bonus. Who knows how many more trips he has in him in the future but it would definitely be good for the NFL to have a new Brady vs Manning rivalry with Jackson and Mahomes that they hyped up several years back it would get the conversation and interest going again if Lamar can finally win one.
Sip on that plus money honey!

P. Manning has the most one and done playoff showings then pretty much all QBs. I don't think it is all that great an accomplishment to be better then P Manning early in his career.
He's not better then Jake Delhome who was 5-3 in his 1st 3 years in the NFL.
Not sure what that is suppose to prove.

I will say this…. Not to discredit anyone who has also watched a lot of football in their lifetime…. I have the same amount of confidence when Lamar leaves the pocket and rolls out to make the right decision…. I am as comfortable in that scenario as I would be with Brady or Peyton manning in their primes inside the pocket. When Lamar leaves the pocket it’s over for you. And what’s amazing is that he is also pretty damn good from the pocket as well. But his decision making is IMHO Brady and Peyton like in their primes. That’s the confidence level I have with Lamar making decisions. It’s not bias because it’s just a similar feeling I had to those guys. The play will be made. It’s his cerebral ability honestly. His decision making has been elite elite elite. Very cerebral QUARTERBACK
I will say this.. His decision-making and accuracy appear to be "much" better this year than in years past. But let's revisit this thread in 5 years, and see if he's won a couple Super Bowls. Only then can we "" begin "" to have this conversation.
