Just a few short weeks ago, JAX was a laughing stock of the league after getting creamed in SD 38-13, then, as 3 pt. home dogs (like they are tonight), they got slaughtered by the Eagles 28-3.
At this point, nobody was willing to touch them and many of us who took them against the Colts were ridiculed. They got some turnovers, lucky breaks, and a really long FG and pulled the upset. Then they went to Buffalo and won 36-26 against a winless team, and suddenly they are everyone's darling team and a great home dog.
It's amazing how people's memory is so short to forget about how bad this team looks when they lose the turnover battle. Maybe the Jaguars have improved so drastically in such a short period of time? But I'm willing to bet that the expectations and pressure of MNF make this team resemble the squad we saw in Weeks 2&3 rather than the last 2 Weeks.
Meanwhile, for Tennessee, this is their first division game and they have yet to win back to back games this season, they will not be looking past this division rival. I can't take the Jaguars tonight, because they are not an ugly enough dog. With them having 2 impressive wins the last couple weeks, they are setting up people's expectations, only to have David Garrard throw them away yet again.
I will ignore the Jaguar fever and take TENN -3. Good Luck guys.
NICE CALL.....PLS. POST EVERY WEEK
