Enough with the predictions and the analysis and previews...it's time to get to the REAL GAMES!! Last year was one of my most successful betting seasons ever. Finished the year at 36-26 for a winning percentage of 58%...including 25-12 (67%) ATS. Was incredibly disciplined throughout the year, generally picking 1-3 games per week that I loved...rather than picking games that I liked. Will try and continue that theory this year, being incredibly picky, no pun intended.
As usual, I will also give my thoughts on each game that I pick so you can see my reasoning and thought process, because that's why we are all here, to gain information and insight. Whenever possible, I will also give my thoughts on games I am not picking...as well as ATS predictions for each week if I can.

Only thing that really worries me in this one is that the Patriots will ease into the season and not really go full throttle until they get fully comfortable with each other. Gronk is not going to be ready for this one, so the receiving threats are limited, but not terrible. Bills QB situation is still very much up in the air, and if Tuel gets the start, I just don't see how they can keep up with the Patriots offense. Spiller and Jackson are very nice at the running back position, but the Patriots run defense is pretty decent. Should be a relatively easy double digit win.
Prediction: Patriots 27 Bills 13

New England Patriots -10 (2.2 to win 2)

So an already bad defense is without two of their best players (Vilma and Smith) and is going up against arguably the best overall offense in the NFL and is favored? I'm not sure I follow this one, and I'm really not sure I follow why a majority of the public is on the Saints side right now. Either way I like it, just keep the Falcons flying under the radar for as long as you like. Prediction: Falcons 31 Saints 21

Atlanta Falcons +3 (2.2 to win 2)

I'm going to stay away from both teams for a while unless something seems really fishy. Chicago is a better home team, and for the Bengals to make the jump, they have to show up on the road. I see no reason to play this line.

gl this season cmj, I always enjoyed your NBA picks. You always gave a solild write up as to why you were making the play along. I don't like the Falcons pick but you could be write.
