NFL Playoff record:  3 - 1 for + 4.70 Units;

To forewarn you; I am a Lifelong Packer Fan, season ticket holder and live in the Green Bay Area:  I prospered heavily on the GB ATS record under the Farve/Rodgers Era, I have been cautious and bet against the Packers also with great success when warranted, so handicapping this game today, I try to leave the "homer" effect out of the analysis. Without lengthy write ups here is what I am playing today:

Green Bay +7 for 2 units:  Simply put Dallas has beat up on bad teams and have not had a quality win this season, padded stats imo for Dak.  GB in a rebuild year with some talent has developed nicely with some quality wins against the Chiefs (27-19) (at Arrowhead), @ Detroit (29-22) on Turkey day, the Rams @ Lambeau (20-3) and lost a close one (23-19) to the 4th Playoff Team they played this season, so 3-1 vs playoff teams.  GB can play with Dallas, we shall see, I am grabbing the points, call me Homer all you want    

Green Bay UNDER 50.5 for 2 unit:  Going against the grain here as GB does not want to get into a shoot out with the Boys, they prefer long, time eating drives which they have perfected the last part of the season.  Also GBs red zone defense has been polar opposite the last half of the season as well and compare that to Dallas anemic red season success, yes Dallas has had big plays but when they ease into the red zone it is a different story.  Jaire Alexander status (game time decision) is big, but very capable back ups as Amon St. Brown of Detroit stated when he was shut down.  Joe Barrys defensive schemes seem to have improved under LaFleurs backing but we shall see against a more potent offense.   Coaching edge to LaFleur also, do not under estimate this fact.....McCarthy has a street named after him in GB but he is very limited, he had Aaron Rodgers at his Peak.

Detroit -3 for 3 units: my favorite play of the day, home Team, crowd wil be nuts, Goff has an ax to grind agains the Team that snubbed him, St. Brown is a great receiver, La Porta will play, they have solid backs with Gibb and Montgomery, I think they can counter Stafford, Kupp, Nacua and Williams.   On the Lions to win by 4 or more, 24-20  

Detroit Under 52.5 for 1 unit:  Playoff Football here, physical game, wont be a shootout, my opinion.

Monday Action:

Pittsburgh +10 for 2 units:   I just see Pitt hanging around, Tomlin is solid ATS and as a Dog and finds a way to keep it resepctable, Buff doesnt blow people out anymore, we shall see.....

Pittsburgh UNDER for 3 units:  The Pitt Under trend is too much to go against.

Eagles -2.5 for 1 unit:  Despite the disyfunction, still flying with the Eagles to win by a FG and advance. 

Eagles UNDER 43.5 for 2 units: Playoff Football, this is close and tight!

Ugly day for me,

Baltimore -9.5 for 3 units -   Ravens take care of business here, the cream rises to the top here......+ Division Favs of 9.5 or more are outstanding ATS, riding with Lamar here.....

Green Bay + 10 for 1 unit - Had the Pack last week and very pleased, this is another tough matchup and as I stated above Favs at this level tend to cover, the Packers have been aggressive and fearless and are road warriors so anything can happen. 

Green Bay UNDER 50.5 for 2 units - Wet weather here and I think this wil be more similar to the knock down dragout these to played a few years back at Lambeau, 13-10 type game, we shall see.

1st play:  I am all over the Detroit Lions -1/2 1st Quarter, -115 for 4 units:

Why: This season the top scoring Teams in the 1st Quarter are: 

#1 is Dallas, Detroit is #2 scoring 6.9 pts in the 1st quarter and averaging 10 points per 1st quarter their L 3 games.

# 3, SF, # 4 is Baltimore.  

Tampa is #26 averaging 2.9 points per 1st quarter and 3.3 L 3 games. 

With amped up home crowd I see the Lions jumping on the Buccaneers early here, 3-0, 7-3, 7-0 all do the trick!

Lean: KC +3.5 - Hate Mahomes ever since his tantrums this year on so called bad calls, what a whiner.  I just think this is too many points.

I am playing this guys, Tail or Fade:

KC +4 for 3 units - Despite not caring for Mahomes whining i have to take him as whatever downgrade he has offensively is offset by the elevated Defense he has working for him.  Too many points imo, Baltimoreis rock solid abut on the biig stage in priemtime with it all on the line its the Chiefs for me with 4 points, I could see the Ravens in a FG game which still cashes my ticket for me.

San Fran -6.5 for 3 units - Weather will not be a factor, I saw Deebo practicing, he is moving well and will play, will he hold up, that is the question.   The 49 er machine should roll here, I admire Goff and Campbell as a Coach but I see a couple of Goff Turnovers and the Niners win a 28 - 17 type game.   This game on grass could slow things down a bit and I lean to the UNDER as well.
