You have to be one savvy individual to run outside the pocket as much as he does and not get hurt or take many big hits. Only time he’s been hurt was in the pocket. Only turnover was because his rookie RT was a deer in headlights on his first ever nfl play against Chris Jones. Nelson Algohor doesn’t block on an easy 4th and 1 call. And then all of the illegal procedures.
They had many chances to play better but didn’t and it still came down to the wire because of Lamar.
You may be on to something. He still thinks that last catch was a touchdown even though he has seen replay after replay. That's not a very intelligent comment to be making when his toe was clearly out.
So, he may not be as intelligent as one might think. No reason to doubt the final call as he was out, but to tell reporters that he still thinks it is a touchdown is just downright dumb.
