Sorry to say but it fits the stereotype....black QB's can run, white QB's make the passes
He is not a high accuracy passer and anyone that says otherwise is fooling themselves. When I saw the last play in slow motion my thought was that the receiver HAS to know where the line is, they run drills and focus and are precise about always knowing where the line is. For how inaccurate his throws are, that receiver had plenty of room and is on the hook for not staying inside the line.

good points, and Likely has taken full responsibility for his mistake...he puts the blame on himself for that last play and rightfully so...you are right that receivers are responsible for knowing where they are on the field in order to make a catch...the throw by Lamar is not the issue on the last play it is the receiver, but that was a difficult situation with the coverage being like it was and the impact of it being the last play of the game...pressure situation and they didn't get it done. it's that simple and it is is good to see the receiver taking responsibility for his positioning in the back of the endzone...were talking less than an inch decided that call...

Fact....
Fact....
@RXistrash
I dont know whether LJ is smart or dumb or somewhere in between, but I do know his throwing mechanics suk and thats why his missed guy by 5 yards from 20 yards away. He was 26 of 41, not elite..... 17 of the 26 passes were completed at or behind the LOS, and he was 3 of 10 on passes greater than 15 yards down field..in great weather.....not good.

IMO it has nothing to do with a low IQ. Lamar is simply trying to do it all himself much like Josh Allen. Some teams have other teams' number and that is the case with the Ravens when they face the Chiefs (almost all of the time).
Fade Lamar at your own risk as he will shine sooner than later. Also his Oline didn't do him any favors either at times.

He’s clearly very accurate. That isn’t the issue. It was more so communication. He wanted flowers to sit down in the zone and flowers wanted to keep moving.
It makes it a piece of cake touchdown if flowers stops his route. They weren’t on the same page there.

I am sure you are being sarcastic but if you are serious yikes. DJ has no excuses. He typically has had the best offensive lines to protect him. First round pick WRs/TEs to throw to. Plus the passing lanes are much better in college then then pros. Jackson made some poor throws sure but he had some key drops too along the way. I don't think he is a high football IQ QB no. He isn't Peyton Manning where he is always trying to be two steps ahead and trick the other team. But he is probably going to be the most athletic QB in NFL history and that is something. Ravens one day (maybe this year) will build a defense behind him where as long as he doesn't turn it over they win. But to compare the two is crazy.

The issue is that he puts to much on himself. Lamar is a great player . He just needs to throw the deep ball 30 yards or more and trust that throw.
We all know he can run and pass. The problem is he settles for 5-10 yard passes and hopes for the best.
