Come on man!!
Fans knew what was coming....so did other teams..they had become 2 predictable....
Should he have not said anything...probably...couldnt b stopped last year...
If the Pats play like they did against the Jets..they will get blown out...

Same thing happened in SanFran when Kap got the starting job. HybridQB...WOW...reincarnation of Steve Young and defenses couldn't figure him and the offense out...for a while...same HC, too (Jim Harbaugh).
Kap career passing% under 60...accuracy lacking...great feet...from the penthouse to the outhouse: 3 great years (2011-2013)...then 8-8...then 5-11 and 2-14 dumpster fire and you're outta here kid!!! Has Harbaugh learned...time will tell but the trend is not Lamar's friend.

gonna disagree. he's talking openly when interviewed, something few QB's outside of Aaron Rodgers do these days. the team is still 6-2 despite the claims but he is saying that the PLAYCALLING is predictable on the RAVENS end leading defenses to know what the plays are. nothing wrong with that.

@LAGameofInches
Think you are missing the point. The reason they are calling out plays and the Ravens are so called "predictable" is because Lamar is the QB. The team can't open up the playbook with him back there(Not saying he's bad) just clear he can't make reads or throws a lot of other QB's can.

nothing wrong with what Lamar said. happens to everyone from time to time. some more so than others. we expected regression but maybe not this bad but it should start getting a little bit easier for Baltimore down the stretch. was listening to Warren sharp podcast, Lamar's passing on early downs looks good but the prob is they dont do enough of it. they run most of the time when every defense expects it. what G roman and Lamar need to do is mix it up , do some playaction make defenses bite on the run fake or something on the first play of the game. if more defenders are in the box they need to pass, and run on lighter boxes. Lamar talks all the time about taking what the defense gives them so this is on Lamar just as much is it on Roman's playcall. Lamar has to do more audibles and change things up if he doesnt see what he likes.
doesnt sound like he's trashing G roman but just speaking plainly about what he sees defenses are doing and being honest. Ravens offense sucks right now, but its up to him to take it up a gear

@Digitalkarma
well said and exactly right. the Ravens run the MOST in the NFL on first down, being "predictable", and then after the box is stacked with defenders, gaining few yards and putting Lamar behind the sticks. sure, there is some regression, but that's not entirely Lamar. our WR's aren't exactly stalwart and that's despite Lamar's arm strength or accuracy. I think he will be fine, the Ravens will continue to win games, especially close ones with Tucker as the kicker, and this will blow over. but i hear others points on not buying into Lamar, just think he's light years better than Kap...but then again i'm a huge Ravens fan.

You were close though....Kap and Lamar have the SAME offensive coordinator

@kcblitzkrieg
LOL yeah, I guess close counts for sumpin'...and maybe cosmic what with Greg Roman working with both the Harbaugh boys.
Don't wanna get any further off track of FRANK'S thread which I shouldn't be doing, just recalled Harbaughs having the same situation with a hybridQB and how it all shook out. Thanks, bud...cheers!

Lmao at the Kaep comparison as if Chip Kelly wasn’t his Coach during those horrid years ...
why don’t you guys just say it’s cause Lamars black? Stop beating around the bush it’s painfully obvious.
also bet against him. You will give the books $$

It has nothing to do with his race. There are plenty of low football iq white quarterbacks around as well. He might be smart in other areas of life but he is not bright when it comes to football. Can’t adapt. Can’t adjust. Can’t improve.

NEVER even though of RACE, Nacho...man, talking football. Just thinking about when a QB comes along (like Steve Young) and it takes time for the D to figure it out. I was gonna say it's just the Ds have now had time to see Lamar play and can scheme stuff. Then Kap - KAEP if you prefer - came to mind b/c he was lighting it up for 2-3 years. Painfully obvious you're life sucks if you're stuck on that shit.

New England is going to beat the Ravens? LOL what? It's such a bad matchup because the Ravens excel at running the ball and the Pats can't do a damn thing to stop it. Also, that was a very bad comparison to Kaepernick. Lamar is on another level with his athleticism. I also think he's a better passer even though yes, Lamar has a long way to go with throwing. They discussed the Ravens this morning since the Pats are going to play them. One host brought up the Ravens have only lost to the Chiefs and Steelers. It's not like they've sucked all year and they're getting worked over. In fact, they should have won that game against the Steelers and Lamar would tell you his turnovers cost them. Their receiving options aren't so great. Jackson should get some blame but the team could certainly improve the depth at the position as well. Then maybe Jackson would have more options and they could do more with the playbook.

If Lamar doesn't win a playoff game this year the doubts will only get louder. Rodney Harrison and Rex Ryan both say that the Ravens should just allow Lamar to be himself and not force this pocket QB regimen on him.
So far he is injury free but other QBs with his skill set have been forced to change their approach eventually. He is only 23 so he has time to adapt and mature IMO...

Please to all, never bring color of a man into conversation. As silly as judging a person on what color shirt or pants they have on today. I could go on but Joe Green, Bruce Lee, Roberto Duran or Jack Lambert would if alive would destroy any poster on covers. It is never about color, or race only about skill. Lamar has skill. In fact every player in the NFL has skill, toughness and a will to win. It may not seem that way every game but are any of you playing in the NFL? No because none of you have the skill or talent. Lamar is young and trying to establish himself as a team leader. This takes a lot of courage.

This has nothing to do with race. So don't go there. I don't care about race or politics or being PC. I treat everyone like they treat me.
