I can promise you offensive cord in the NFL understand all that logic of stacking the box and what plays calls to make when that happens. Lamar is limited and defesnes around the league know this.

i think Ravens will be fine for the 2nd half of season a bunch of hot air about nothing. Offense should be a little bit more manageable down the stretch maybe they'll start to find their identity then. When I think of teams similar , the 2015 Broncos come to mind. their offense stunk but their defense carried them. the scary part is Ravens are still putting up 28 ppg when their offense isnt clicking. defense will only get better but will go thru a little tough stretch with Calais Campbell out. This is when Ravens will need to rely on offense a bit more.. maybe this is when they will rediscover their identity.. These next 3 games will be critical i see them winning 2 out of 3. I see the Ravens getting swept by Steelers or lose to Titans or maybe lose to both who knows..
but i am seeing Ravens finishing 12-4. they won't win homefield advantage which i dont think is a dealbreaker to me. Ravens seem to play better on the road than at home. love my team as a wildcard rather than an odds on favorite like last season. pressure was too much for them.

The Ravens get RB Ingram back though they don't really need him and they are facing weaker versions of the Patriots and Titans...so their timing is fortunate (it is not who you play but when you play them)...then their revenge match @ Pitts on Thanksgiving evening. Baltimore is a very young team...

Congrats on the most ignorant comment in the thread.
wtf.
Nobody in here said that they don’t want Lamar Jackson to do well. And even Raven fans are agreeing with the criticism of him and the offence despite their support for their team. The reason is because it has nothing to do with color.

Yup, and very difficult to defend for most teams. It's like preparing for the triple option in college, you just don't want to deal with it.
I've been telling people for years how bad Kaep is throwing from the pocket when all the "Kaep can't get a job cause of his race/beliefs" crap was going on. The dude in his hay day was an excellent zone read QB, big fast and strong.
Then whatever year it was, he became a vegan, lost 40 pounds of muscle, had a couple off season surgeries, and Roman couldn't dare run him the way he used to. The league became privy to the zone read by this point, so the offense had to change.
Colin Kaepernick flat out sucked at playing QB from the pocket. Period. End of that story.
I think there is some hope for Lamar, but so far it doesn't look to promising that he'll morph into a straight drop back QB. Not that he necessarily has to, but at some point they will need him to use his arm when they are behind on the scoreboard.
The Ravens offensive style is deadly when they are playing with a lead.

@undermysac...Yep, 3 great seasons, then 8-8, 5-11, 2-14 and that's all she wrote.
Steve Young figured it out, Mike Vick figured it out...RG III unfortunately, no...Kaep for a while..and the world keeps spinning.

@Denson7
Correct -- Titans finally exposed him last year. Lamar's strength are throwing ball in the middle of field especially to TEs and if that doesn't work then take off and run. That is all he can do. Force him to throw deep or to the sideline and he cant do it./

Correct ! Any criticism of a black athlete automatically makes one a racist--- it is what it is. Lamar Jackson will be out of the league in 3 years. However, Russell Wilson and Patrick Mahoomes are great QBs. Does that help ?
