Ya I rather watch sports than reality tv both are pre scripted, but I do admire the athleticism of the players. I don't need to read up on the fix is in, I can tell by what I have seen over the years, even Rasheed Wallace Tracy macrady mark Cuban questioned the nba being rigged y do u think Dallas won 2011 Cuban was going to leave nba stern gave him the title for screwing him in 2006

Gee Kaboon, I knew that about Cuban too, but do you actually think bettors here would believe that?.....NEVER!!....I also loved watching the replays of disgraced  and convicted NBA official Doheny making "phantom " calls and calling technical fouls on players and coaches near the end of the game to cover the spread....Years from now you'll find him in the yellow pages, under "water!"

In 2011 ill never forget all  the major sports experts said they didn't think there would be any upsets in the playoffs except for blazers over Dallas lol and a lot of teams were upset first round that year I put the pieces together and made good $ taking Dallas the whole way even after game1 loss to maimi I was still confident dirk was setting records for free throws that playoffs, then the heat 6 minute 4th qtr melt down of only 2 Points fun times

Folks that think its all above board are clearly not using their whole brain--i suggest walking/running backwards for this.

Last SUPERBOWL-first play--what happen??   nfl didnt want 49ers to blow them out-giving all decisions to baltimore in first half--then it got out of hand and they started giving everything to 49ers to even it up--so as to keep the ratings up.

1000% bull the NFL has rarely prevented corruption and actually only covers up most transgressions after the fact by sweeping them under the rug, currently reading "Larceny Games" by Brian Tuohy and it extensively quotes FBI sources and actual investigative records that paint a vivid picture of what actually happened in NFL before the league office decided to whitewash it's image to it's present state.

I feel for anyone too naive to realize that billion dollar companies are going to do whatever it takes to improve their brand, which also includes but certainly isn't limited to rigging draft picks, setting up playoffs matchups, extending 7 game series to 7th game, refocusing inflammatory media reports, stealing other teams signals, recording their practices, dumping games for draft picks etc etc

Yeah Da_Shouta, Glad u posted and we think, or should I say "know" alike!!.....Again, it's a BUSINESS first....And businesses will do anything to make more $$$$$$$.....Just reading parts at www.thefixisin just reinforced a lot of what I already knew..Will check into your book too....Especially enjoy, that in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the devastation that it put on NO, the Saints, at home on MNF, totally demolished their much better opponent....And wasn't their disgraced coach allowed to attend a game and sit in a special place with an NFL exec. or two?....What a joke!!

Do you think the NE-Jets game was fixed? Or perhaps it is more likely that bettors knew that Brady, without any targets, would struggle against a divisional foe who knows him well?

The Bills were supposed to not only cover, but win the game outright in the last 30 seconds. Obviously fixed. Why didn't I know?

The Titans knew they were going to drive 99 yards to take a 1 point lead on the 4th and then get a pick 6 on the next drive to go up 24-16. Then they gave up a TD and 2 point conversion. They subsuequently had a 3 and out and played with FG kicker Bullock's mind on 3 occasions(who missed the game FG off the left upright) to send it to OT. Where they would eventuallyose by 6. Fixed, fixed, fixed. garbage, I am dumb.

Oh yeah, clearly, the Cowboys were meant to cover the +3.5, isn't it obvious?

The Cardinals knew they would be down 21-19 and get a TD late in the 4th. Scripted to perfection.

Finally, the Bucs absolutely knew they would return an 85 yard INT for a TD in the 4th to cover the spread. I should have known.

The Bucs probably didn't know, but I'm betting saints qb did .  Look at the replay, the linebacker looked like the primary receiver.  Nearest Saint a good five yards away.  Saints qb threw some 25 incomplete passes that day, hard to believe, but found perfection in the game winning drive to win under the spread.  Wake up call buddy, you gotta be blind not to see what's going on in many of these games.

On the other hand, Saints looked good beating Falcons in what i consider a close game pre-hand. So i think Saints shouldnt have any problems winning with 2 touchdowns here. I know its a divisional game, but still in a spot like this Saints shouldnt have too many problems, they are simply just better and stronger. But when i saw this line..... I just knew something were up, i just knew Saints wouldnt totally blow them out of the field. Saints lead 13-7 now, so they can still cover the spread yeah, but thats not my point, my point is it seems like something is holding them back from smacking their fools, and it seems like it is this line that is doing it... Same thing is how i felt about Lions, i think they would beat Cardinals with 2 touchdowns as well, Lions looked good in week 1 against vikings despite a bad start of the game, and Cardinals looked horrible against Rams. So i thought to my self when i saw the line being even money... Something is up here.... Lions get ahead with 8 points, but they keep blowing field goals and missing them all over the place, and all calls going in the way of Cardinals. 

I know books are sharp, but they shouldnt be over sharp if u know what i mean, what kind of fun is there if we know the outcome of the game prehand or what kind of game it will be? Like, if the line is even money then we know that it will not be a blow out or that it will be atleast somewhat close? It just ruins the fun and entertainment for me that its almost dictated before the game has started what will happen. 

But to me, following the Lions game AFTER i saw the line just made me think that something fishy was up when lines were like that. 

I know Saints can still win like 20-7, but it still just seems wierd that the game is played like the line says its supposed to be played. 

Like in the Lions game, Lions should have won this game with 2-3 touchdowns, but we KNOW it wont happen when the line is like this. These "Too good to be true" lines just never wins. Im glad i dont bet, otherwise i would have been fucked over great time, (even tho i would have bet on Bills, lol - so i guess it would have evened out) but i consider starting to bet again and then i just bet on whatever seems too good to be true. Like today, Saints looked too good to be true, so i take Bucs with the spread + a few extra points to be sure, same thing with cardinals, take them + a few extra points to be sure and then just take it from there.

You get it kid and I agree with you. You are smart enough to see through things of what's really going on.   This is why I rarely bet ATS and mostly play teasers because those 6-7 points are going to be the difference you need in the game. 

The bottom line is it's all about money with the NFL and everything surrounding it. Do people really think that teams go out every week to play a good honest game of football? Heck no! Thats why the teams who have all the advantages and strengths in the matchups often times end up barely winning or not winning at all. You wonder why teams look great one week and total crap the next? Yes players have bad games but what goes on and what I have seen is obvious.

I have sworn to stop betting the NFL many times for the same reasons you mention but I always get pulled back in because I love the action. But am taking every point I can get in matchups you can count on that.

"inthetank" your very wise but the worst team in the league can win on any given day. My point is that they are the best at what they do. The best to the worst players is not that much apart in ability to play the game.

So this Sunday, the QB off the Jags is, well, as u say, about equal to Wilson, and of course to Manning, Rodgers and Brady??...Hmmmmm.....Think you should go to www.thefixisin and also buy the other new book out!!.....DID ALL OF YOU KNOW THAT THESE BOOK WRITERS WERE DENIED RADIO, TV TIME INTERVIEWS BY THE BIG GUYS LIKE ESPN, FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC AND DOWN THE LINE?.....They got a little time with small local ones, that's about it!....So from what you say again about the talent level, I should load up on the JAGS this Sunday getting almost 3 TDS????.....Or, better yet, take the ML with the JAGS.....That's it!!..No difference in talent!!!!!!!!!!....THAT'S what I have been missing in my analysis!!....Hell, I'm going to make a killing now!.....At least a "DIME" on the Jags ML.....Thanks bud!

jags this weekend? so much information how 20 point favorites are 1-9 covering. so logic says take the jags, which i rather stay off on. I like carolina over gmen. fans think their 2 time super bowl champ cant go 0-3 favorite play of the weekend

 pats -7.5 should be the play and quietly go 3-0

The one thing nobody has mentioned in this insane thread, is why??? Why would a 9 billion dollar company try to fix games so bookies and betting houses can make money off juice which they would regardless of who won.

3/4's of the audience watching the game are bettors. fix the game or at least moderate the game to finish around the spread so that the ratings stay high

why would vegas fix it? u think vegas wants to take a billion dollar hit on tampa bay beating the jets? or the saints blowing out tampa bay. how do they build their casinos if they take a billion dollar hit every weekend? They could take a 60/40 hit to make it look legit, but not when the public is 95 percent on one side

Seems that someone must have Biff's sports almanac from the future lol.  Of course you knew what would happen after the fact, hindsight is 20/20.  Ok so if everything about the lines and how the games end up is obvious, and you can write a script for it after you watch it.  Then the only question remains, given how obvious everything is, why would you choose NOT to bet these obvious games and make FREE money.  If you knew the Saints line was funny, why wouldn't you bet the house on TB?  Same with the Bills, Cards, etc.  I certainly wouldn't be complaining if I knew the fix, I'd keep my mouth shut and keep making that free money.

I did take tb, vegas didnt mind paying me 100 bucks. when they were taking 100 million from the public

im 70 percent against the spread this year all games. but i only bet 3 games a weekend if i go 2 for 3 i win

so are college games also fixed. they always tend to be close games close to the spread, Also most high school games are decided late. Now that I think of it, the local pop warner league is fixed also. The other day, the best team, almost lost to a bad team, and didn't cover. It must have been fixed.

1st u asked why would a billion dollar corporation like the nfl fix a game.

Now u are sarcastically saying pop warner is fixed, last time i checked pop warner wasnt a billion dollar corporation so those games wouldnt be fixed which validates my point even more.

and btw my jr bball team in middle school got incentives to win games by so many points, and coaches were paid off to make their sons look "good" so they can get looked at by scouts who diff conversation
