You do realize Mac’s worst year is this year under O’Brien right? So as bad as Patricia was Mac shouldn’t have had as bad of a year this year if what you’re saying is true. I’m not sure if you’re a Pats fan but I’ve watched every game Mac has played. He has an extremely weak arm, really bad footwork and awful decision making. He had around 2-3 games this season he could’ve won but either blew the game with either an int or just bad decisions. Can you blame his surroundings? Sure. But Mac was part of the problem. I’m not sure if he’s even good enough to be a career back up. I think in a few seasons he will be out of the league. The way he was handled didn’t help but ultimately it comes down to his ability. Since Zappe started the offense has gotten better. And that’s without Bourne and Stevenson.

Mac jones after the 34-0 loss to the Saint in October...."No Matter how good of a cook you are, You cannot make garbage taste good". This is what he said about his teammates........NFL = Not for Long for Mac Jones...I can't believe he said that... Wonder why his teammates hate him

...And when is that...
...And when is that...
Lets put Mac in a spot where when he wakes up Game Day and doesn't have to worry about who am I going to hand the ball off too. How about Jahmyr Gibbs or David Montgomery then he asks what TE am I going to throw to that knows how to run routes and will get the job down how about Sam LaPorta or Brock Wright. Now I need some half decent WR's with some talent ok how about Josh Ryenolds, Amon Ra St Brown or Jameson Williams or Donavan Peoples-Jones or maybe even Kalif Raymond. Now we need a great offensive co-ordinator to run this whole ship oh we will take probably the best in the league and happens to run that a for mentioned talent Ben Johnson all Lions. Now go to work Mac you finally have the talent just like at Alabama where you still hold the College football passing per centage of 77.4% and threw for 4500 yds and 41 touchdowns in one season.

What exactly does Mac Jones do well? Like Quick Release...Anticipation...Scrambling/Offscript....Big arm/make all the throws......He is MEH...His ceiling is super low...He is what he is..Probably was drafted a little too high like most QB's do...

Not hard to look bad on a total horse shit team NE the great SB champs are a garbage football team like I said take a look at Jones when he had Waddle Smith and Metchie. I really hope they haven't wrecked the kid. Piece of shit NE TEAM. I kind of liken it to Matthew Stafford when he played for a horse shit no talent Lions team went to the Rams and wins a SB where he had some talent and a fantastic O Line makes a huge difference.

you only need to look at 2-3 minutes of highlight film of jones at bama to see why he easily thrived. his receivers had guys beat by 2-3 steps every time, almost like 80% of the completions purdy makes for 9ers except that's mostly from great playcalling and 9ers guys are wide open.just not gonna have that type separation in pros that he had at bama without great scheming and playcalling along with the proper receivers to boot. in the case for jones at bama the receivers were all burners and had way too much speed for opponents to handle. I mean dovanta smith, john metchie, jaylen waddle good gosh. on literally every play somebody is going to be open.

@ rosswin97 " I'D THINK HE COULD EXCEL IN THIS LEAGUE JUST NEED A BETTER SITUATION. THE RIGHT SITUATION IS EVERYTHING FOR ANY PLAYER IN THE NFL FROM TEAM TO COACHES TO TEAMMATES TO TIME ALLOWED TO DEVELOP." That's EXACTLY what I have been trying to say in this whole thread some people are a little thick in understanding it.

Mac has been making more than his share of bad decisions and over throws and to use stats from Alabama is plain silly, Any one can drive a Cadillac! While playing for the tide he had 6 or 7 Mississippi’s to throw the ball !
